Even when all his friends, SW, DR, and TK said that Deoksun is cute, he said that they are crazy. That is his problem and he needs to learn from his own mistakes.

I keep seeing comments saying he didn’t deserve DS because he was playing hard to get all along, pursuing her in rude way and not showing his feelings. But lemme tell you, he had been pretty straightforward with her after she stopped pursuing Seonwoo. When he went to the restaurant when DS called, he told her to think really hard why he came all the way to such a far away place. Even DS got to know about his feelings but by the time, he could ask her out, Taek told everyone how he likes DS and that made Jungwhan back off since the last thing anyone would want is to break Taek’s heart.

I am sure Junghwan liked Deokseon back then and even after years. But the reason they’re not together is because of his own personality and how he cares for Taek’s feelings to Junghwan. He’s like his mum and they don’t really show their affection or feelings to people. They all look like they have a cool personality but is actually soft-hearted deep down. That could be the reason why he didn’t tell her how he really liked her and hesitated all the time and they just missed the timing to be together. He’s also a person that has a lot of thoughts and a softhearted guy and so again hesitated when he found out that one of his best friends, Taek’s feelings.
Deokseon on the other hand doesn’t really have much people to care about her in the family as a middle child. She and Junghwan would not be happy i guess even together as Junghwan always talked coldly to her although he likes her because that’s just how he is. Plus, when Deokseon likes Sunwoo and Junghwan, she is most likely to make people like her instead of thinking of her own feelings.
