Hi, my name is Rodrigo Tonin. My username on twitch is Synagein and I'm happy to bring you this nice speedrun I've done.

I bought this with games with gold on my Xbox, is great!
This man is doing shit that will take me weeks to figure out. Still using as reference but trying to go as natural for my first playthorugh as possible. (Did I say weeks? Silly me, I meant to say months/years! I mean wow. Half way through and I’m already dumbfounded at how much there is to do by time to beat the game.. such a great game. Top 5 series for sure.
Still have the original for GameCube back in 2002.

Thank you very much. For some odd reason, Resident Evil 1 is a lot more complicated and difficult than Resident Evil 2, Code Veronica X, Outbreak 1 and 2.

Dude gets farther in this game in 10 minutes than I do in 2 hours
2 hours is still good. Took like 3 hours and I was stuck on the dog whistle and spikey shield trap part.

I'm going to try this route. I keep ending at 5 hrs 30 mins. I need to find a way to not back track so much. You are very good at dodging. I always get grabbed and munched on.

A dude dude tbh. This remake came out on GameCube. The graphics on the original remake honestly are still really fucking good. Especially for the time. Nuts man.
thanks for this, I used your route and got a 2'43"41 on ps3. I got the self defense gun and a few red/green herbs though.

Thanks for showing me another route. Even though it helped saved a lot of time I still can't get near 1:45:00 with either of them. How'd you get to 1:14:35?
Inventory management, I would say, is the biggest time saver. Knowing what to pick in the progress you do, saves a lot. Stair skating is good to skip long stair animations.

I've mastered the Stair skating part. Honestly the OCD is gonna make item management a bitch. Gotta try breaking that habit... Lol

Thanks to your video I was able to complete the game within 2::28:51 with the doors loading. If it wasn't for the Cave confusing me and the very last part of the lab then I believe that I would have had finished within 2 hours. Do you have a Jill Valentine video for 100%?

29:32 is the moment I pick up the Shotgun - I don't get it earlier, that's why I'm able to grab in this part.

I'm trying to obtain infinite rocket launcher so which character is easier to use for the under 3 hrs speedrun? Jill or Chris? I tried Jill few times but i kept on dying to some zombies and crimson head (trying to avoid them instead of shooting zombies which doesn't really kill them and just makes them turn into more crimson heads later) f*ing infinite samurai edge handgun isn't that much useful anyway, should have been just the shotgun that have been made infinite after finishing game under normal mode under 4 hrs.
Jill because she has access to grenade launcher very early. Need to manage ammo but compared to Chris, her path is better. To finish fast, IMO, is more about knowing where to go and what to do than anything else. If you don't want Crimson Heads, blow their face with shotgun.
@@rltonin yeah i use shotgun to aim at zombies head but half a time their head still intact after blasting their head so i guess the percent of successful head shot is 50% that it will explode and 50% it won't.

I will be honest. Maybe it's not impossible but I think I can beat this game on my own without cheating (using this video) but it will take me a whole year because I have to study the map and take notes. Very difficult game.
how to skip door open and how to go stairs quickly?
This is PC version of the game. You have to download a program to be able to Skip the door animation.
Search on RUclips about "stair skating" - its a matter of pressing the run buttom multiple times when going up or down the stairs
For My Dare I’m gonna try beating the game without saving it may be difficult but I believe in Myself that I can do it even that it will take time too finger out where too go even that I can only remember some but the more I play it again and again it will help me remember more I have finished the game in the past and on PS4 but now I’m gonna try it on My GameCube console that I just got yesterday 😌

Não sei se compreendi sua questão, mas tem duas formas de encarar a planta: uma longa e outra curta.
A longa é quando você produz o veneno que mata ela e nesse tempo existe uma interação com a Rebecca, já a curta é simplesmente meter bala nela. Nesse caso a única coisa que tenho que me preocupar é em salvar a Rebecca do Hunter.
@@rltonin Sim, qdo joga-se com o Chris a Rebeca que ajuda com a planta, vc cortou essa parte? O Chris nao fica automaticamente preso pelos tentaculos da planta e a Rebeca tem que fazer a formula do Vjolt, o veneno pra matar a planta? Obgd. Abc.
@@helio.g8384 Não, não tem corte de nenhuma parte nessa speedrun. A partir do minuto 31:00 você nota que eu mato o enxame de abelhas, pego a chave, abro a porta e faço o puzzle dos livros que me dá acesso a sala da planta e aí mato ela na bala. O jogo te dá a opção de matar a planta com o veneno ou mata ela na bala. A rota de mata na bala é mais rápida assim como deixar de pegar a magnum no cemitério, isso só faz perder tempo.
Obs: se você reparar vê que depois que eu derroto a planta tem uma cutscene com a Rebecca que eu corto.

Is 100% the official meaning of the best ending (Rescue the other main and his helper) or to collect everything in the game? I wanna subscribe my knife only run (best ending) on a Speedrun site

Nope, I haven't. Before this one, I did play RE 2, 3 (my favorite) and RE 4 (Wii version is pretty good IMO)

I don't know about that. If I would guess, probably pausing the game freezes time.

Im playin with this walkthrough and in the room with the shark there is no shotgun. In this playthrough is....why is that ?
Probably because I haven't picked one before, I don't really remember why (the shotgun you refer is a pump shotgun, it's different from the one you get normally).
Did you save Richard? In Jill's game you get it if you save him. When you face the big snake for the first time if you saved Richard, he'll help you in the fight but he'll eventually get eaten alive and his shotgun will be yours to take.
I'm guessing you need to save Richard in Chris run as well. The shark eats him and you'll get his shotgun, it worked for me at least and I had already gotten the shotgun found in the mansion so I don't think it matters if you got the other shotgun or not.

You don't need tbh.
You either do the book puzzle and fight the plant or look for the venom to kill it. Doing the route I did will lead to the outcome showed in this speedrun.

En Pc Es mas facil pasarlo mas rapidamente por que te puedes saltear las escenas donde las puertas se abren y veo que tiene una pequeña velocidad mas el personaje en comparación a una consola..
No es por criticar tu actitud de juego.. eress un crack igual..

@@davidadriansanchezgomez8013 bueno yo primero descargue el vídeo en mi tablet,, y antes de jugarlo veía el vídeo casi todos los días y comense a memorizar para hacerlo tal cual,,claro también jugaba y veía el vídeo al mismo tiempo...puedes jugar y si has avanzado bien en el juego sin errores,,grabas la partida y te sales del juego,no te preocupes que,el tiempo queda paralisado,,ves el vídeo nueva mente memoriza y vuelves a jugar,..así lo hice yo y me funciono creeme,.. Aaaahh.!!! Otra cosa,, las cinemáticas cortalas todas porque pierdes tiempo..espero que me ayas entendido,..saludos

Just learn it segmented first and get reference points to make it easy to know what to do when and eventually all comes together.

Ryan Slater Some Speedruner even use their Splits as kinde "little nuggets" u know? If you name them specific it can give you a hint where 2 go next. To learn the routings is just Practice. Play it long enough and u even gain Muscle Memmory so u can focus on the next 2-3 steps and plan ahead.. maybe 2 safe time

IIRC, you can only fight him if you do 100% (save Jill or Cris by getting the 3 MO disks - Cris has to save Rebecca too)

Rodrigo Tonin It dosent really cut time lol, it seems to black out for a few seconds like the door when opening
All doors/gates/elevators in the game, have a 7 second animation to open. This cuts quite a bit of time.

Door Skip was removed for whatever reason and got back in. So when this happened, all door skips records were erased. Unfortunately, this run would not count as it is done in 30fps (recorded in 30fps), so yeah. For some days I new the feeling of being the 1st place holder, it was good =). Thanks for the comment. 100% is when you get the 3 disks and save the character imprisoned (Jill or Chris - depends of who you are playing with).
