My first gang in Confrontation (precursor to Necro) was Scavvies. I wanted to play something like Venators or Techs but rolled up Scavvies so that was that. The thing was Scavvies could randomly find old lost domes leading to either injury or a huge cache of gear. I found the latter and stepped into my first game with a leader decked out in power armour and carrying a heavy bolter (with ammunition for it too!). Played them again in late 90s when I was working my way through all the Outlander gangs. Didn't try the Fanatic-era rules for them in 2000s. Tempted to try them in Newcro with the mutant rules added in one of the Apocryphas.
I'm going to be putting a Scally together soon. The base model being the Blood Bowl Kroxigor. With BB's Chaos Dwarf, Mad eyes blunderbuss & a BIG nasty axe. A few other tweaks here & there on the armour & trinkets. A project I am Very much looking forward to. What would you all use as the base for a Scally? Or for putting together a Scavvy gang?

There's no way GW won't bring Scavvies back officially. One of the most fun gangs to play as and against in N95.
The thing is they kinda already did with the outcast mutations pdf.
@Red0Leader true true. Some new minis and a dedicated book similar to Halls of the Ancients would be ace though.
@@Red0Leader they released Orlock in Gang War, in Gangs of the Underhive and in House of Iron. Why not also Scavvies for a second time? 😊
