Chipping Campden

The Hinckley District annual outing visited Chipping Campden. I start in the church, which is really quite beautiful, then move to the ringing chamber. The bells are a real mixture of dates and founders and for what they are they are quite good. Here is some Stedman Triples. They arent easy to ring well, being very oddstruck and the tower moves a fair bit.

These bells sound much better than when they were recorded for the bells of the cotswolds CD. since then the 7th has been replaced.
