PT: O Paul do Mar é um dos centros piscatórios mais importantes do arquipélago. O mar deu a esta freguesia uma incrível variedade de peixe que, consequentemente, a tornou uma referência no mundo da gastronomia.
Até aos anos 60 só podia aceder a esta vila piscatória de barco e nos 30 anos seguintes a única maneira de chegar lá a baixo era muito devagarinho por uma estrada pouco segura. Felizmente a nova estrada não prejudicou o aspecto romântico da vila e a qualquer cantinho que vá, pode sempre contar com silêncio, paz e autenticidade.
Saindo do Paul do Mar, três túneis deixam para trás um paraíso que a memória nunca esquecerá.
ENG: Paul do Mar is one of the most important fishing centers in the archipelago. The sea has given this parish an incredible variety of fish which, consequently, has made it a reference in the world of gastronomy.
Until the 1960s, I could only access this fishing village by boat and for the next 30 years the only way to get down there was very slowly by an unsafe road. Fortunately, the new road has not damaged the romantic aspect of the village and wherever you go, you can always count on silence, peace and authenticity.
Leaving Paul do Mar, three tunnels leave behind a paradise that memory will never forget.
