It's a potentially lovely bike , a relatively rare early model with the ' abbreviated ' skirts intact, introduced in 1962 on the 500cc Tiger 100SS , altered slightly in 1963 and discontinued shortly afterwards, a friend has one owner ' 65 Tiger 90 without these skirts. As I know from experience, there is no logic financially in restoring to this standard but for what appears to be relatively little work , far more beneficial to have it running to prove it will not require much more hidden expense .The engine work done is imperative to know , has it had the crankshaft sludge trap renewed ?- which is essential to have done for a long reliable life.Although 1965 registered , I suspect it is a ' 64 model and would have had a gold tank top ,white beneath , matching gold mudguard stripes and white. The frame ( VIN ) and matching engine number will prove its exact age.
