This video is perfect! A knowledgeable person with a tastefully restored "proper" bike , I am so glad I fund this video. The 20/21" rims do look so much nicer, and it does improve the handling, but it does become more difficult to get tyres, although if the bike is kept out of the sun ,(the sun here in the south of France is a problem for me), they should last a long time. Many thanks for posting this video! Chris B.

what a wonderful video! I love that style of motorcycle, well used, bit oily, grubby but sound. lovely. thank you very much for a most enjoyable 10 mins. Has made me want to add an inter to my little collection of riders - and ride it. thanks again.

Lovely machine, for me the 1930s were the golden age of British motorcycle manufacture, virtually all of my all time favourites are from this era. I used to fuss about originality but these days I much prefer to see bikes adapted and improved to make them rideable and useable, it's what they were built for eh. I love your passion, Thanks for sharing 🙂

Really enjoyed this and you mentioned George Dance. I own a 1927 Model 6 long stroke Sunbeam (Flat Tanker) with a Brooklands silencer like yours. Great channel Thanks for posting 👍

I am Frank and I found a very knackered CJTT engine.. it laid for trash in a corner and in wrong hands it would end in nothing .. it.s a bit canabalized but we bring it back in full glory ..

I own a 1937 350 cammy complete with Brooklands can, it's been a project for too long, mainly engine work as the crank needs rebuilding. I bought a new Alpha crank pin and bearing, need the rod race honing.

I imported a 1929 Motobecane... they used the Blackburne 500 engine and Birman gear box.... seller claimed it was in " good condition "... No... took a couple years to get it a runner.... two broken gears in gearbox.... bad pistions.. bad valves... But it's a runner now.. fun old bike.... I wouldn't lease town on it... :)

Is there a reason for not cleaning it? I don`t mean polish, just to get the petrol/oil stains off? I`m not ocd, ride all year, but I just wipe down with wd40 to help preserve the old beast. I am genuinely curious as I have seen this before.

I thought it was a band in the garage rehearsing, they changed to a country and western band later on, clearly a versatile combo.

Whilst I admire the motorcycles that are immaculate & look original, I much prefer ones that work as they should & get ridden as intended. Patina & a bit of muck & even corrosion, show they are ridden & not just garage queens.
