- The government has finally unveiled a list of eleven parastatals earmarked for privatisation. Some of the notable firms in the list include KICC, New KCC and Kenya Pipeline.
Mr. President don't forget the Indian Ocean to sale.

I second the government too. Watu wako hapa kupiga kelele but ask them how do we benefit from KICC as a nation they won't tell you(there's some individuals who gets some percentage from KICC like Kenya ni yao na hio nyumba hao ndo walijenga) . All the listed parastatals have been benefiting some individuals like they own them. Safaricom being privately owned has some decency,ingekua ya government tungekua tunanunua 20mbs at 50bob juu ya wizi kwa serikali. They will generate more income to our economy when they are privatised than when ziko kwa mikono ya serikali juu wezi wamejaa huko.
If the sugar companies,mumias,nzoia na Chemelil can be given to private ventures they'd be running smoothly but juu mafisi ndio wameishikilia isiwai rise we'll never have them back. Government owned companies benefits individuals not the nation.

There is a direct correlation between the 17b oil scandal and sale of parastatals. The 17b was to be used to snap up Kenya pipeline which is the most lucrative of all the companies mentioned. The returns are quick since dealing with oil

If i was to purchase KICC i would turn the floors into hotel rooms whereby if you come to a conference you will not evenm have to leave the building to go to your hotel. Lease out conference space to others
They forgot Kenya Airways, Sugar companies, Kenya Railways, they are losing money faster than they make it. Governments should not be running any businesses because it's a burden to taxpayers.
