@@Thy_Guardian "Too much endings for such short game" you hit the main problem with the history of the game. Nothing is developed, everything is rushed to happen in one night: the protagonist background, the character that becomes the villain, the secret about the animals and the zoo, everything in the game feels like it was made in a few hours.
This game looked so good but holy crap that was disappointing. This feels like a demo, there could have been so much more done with this, it could have been a mystery of what was happening to the animals but they blew it by being upfront on what was happening and a playthrough only being about an hour long. With over 20 endings, that’s a lot of replay value to add to the overall game run time. Idk, just my opinion 😕
20 endings doesn’t really mean anything. Its the same game with 20 different cutscenes. Multiple endings only works if the game itself changes on the way to those endings. Plus, having 1 and a half hours of gameplay and throwing in a few cutscenes is really pushing the “multiple endings” spin. There’s barely any game

I'm not saying the different endings isn't a cool idea, it's effective if each are impactful. The problem is how many there are, I fear that they had spread themselves too thin trying to account for the different endings resulting in a short gameplay loop. If you had to go to each enclosure it may overstay its welcome, but it'd at least let people feel like they got their moneys worth in their initial experience. Likewise, it'd also pad out the run time through player agency. Let's say you need 4 parasites but can clear each enclosure if you want to. I definitely feel like they created the endings and tried to work backwards because there is no way you'd create 23 endings for such a short gameplay loop. I haven't much looked onto the game and how it was developed. The premise is good, the idea is there, it feels very much like Mortuary Assistant, but there's a lot to unpack and understand for a gameplay. The continuous back-and-fort to get requirement A to B feels offsetting. For anyone having an attention span of a shrimp, all that mechanics is quite a GRIND. I do agree that the game feels very rushed
8:08 "Centipedes shouldn't exist" Don't worry, that's not a hot take. Centipedes are creepy and when they crawl on you it feels like HAIR. I had two centipedes crawl up my leg (one where I was at a restaurant and another when I was ASLEEP 😭) and it was HORRIFYING. 😭 (I do get that they get rid of pests but I'd rather not see them 😅)
People will jump on the wagon to tear down anybody and anything these days. The game has bad tutorial. Get over it. Just play again and wait for when they likely release a patch for the rushed parts. I do absolutely understand why ppl are dissatisfied for this but the hate reaction feels disproportionate. Especially knowing the sad circumstances behind it. There are many games that are meant to be failed upon the couple first gameplays until you learn the rules and the lore. This could pass easily as one for these cases. In the meantime the biggest AAA companies release buggy clichee nonsense all the time and everyone gushes about it instead lol.
Lol I think bug with the stereo on phone calls appears because of the idle animation is bobbing characters head and spins around the point where audio is playing... I am not sure, but may be it. But why testers haven't notice it then?
I've long stated that Centipedes are undeserving of life, and hate every second of their existence. Thank you for sharing in that dislike of centipedes it makes me feel a little more justified
Game looks and feels great. Everything people say make it feel bad mske it feel more uncanny and creepy. Outside of the obvious bugs and crashes of course.
What was that second ending? So Lily got caught by Doc's men at the police, and all of a sudden Lily got eaten at the same time as Doc did? And how did Lily and Doc get eaten first and Mother then went to grab Sarah and Paul, while we just saw all three of them being grabbed at the same time? It either is written in a very weird way, or it simply makes no sense at all.
This game's gameplay loop doesn't feel like a loop. I know its literally a zoo sim which is chores, but the dead air between chores are offputting. Like just let us have the magical pocket space to minimize the back and forth. Then I kinda wished the mutated animal doesnt revert immediately so there would still be some consequences. I can excuse the lack of polish, unlike most people... but the gameplay loop and things to do than just "curing sick animal" needs to be expanded. Put it to sleep, multi stage boss fight/different AI behaviour, and some dialogue tweak because the story needs a common sense to make it scary. We could have unearth the mystery like Amnesia The Bunker instead of dealing with just Doc, who is just a grunt at the grand scheme. He's a supervisor, but not mastermind. That's why it doesn't feel final since the government can still hunt Paul Conolly after this.
What is this last ending? It says the mother consumed Lily's body but Lily was already dead and apparently the mother only eats things she kills herself. They need to decide lol
8:00 Agreed. They, like mosquitoes, shouldn't exist. Also, if you hate centipedes, (be they house type or giant scolopendra fuck tropical types), wait til you see velvet worms.

For everyone who's wondering why the game looks and plays wird and why it sucks. You can see in this video at the end that the main story writer died. They ruched the game while probably grieving. Why they dont just say it on soziale media and ignore the 5 guys who would still be mad for delaying is beond me. But i guess its to make some money to help hes family or something. They cut too much, they ruched too hard and now we have this mess. They may or may not fix it with patches, but the way it is now, its just another disappointment of a game in the 2020 era of gaming.

@@CravingPain yeah I mean usually im spoiled to death if I check media, and I didn't have issues until I realised I couldn't trigger certain events and that was already 2+ hours in. then the circus hit. so oh well.
Thankfully I don't often get interested in games so overall it's whatever.
eyyy finally 2 min. congrats bro. Great content
Game is fine, but it feels too short, also saw 8bitryan's playthrough where he encountered some bugs. I just hope this isnt all there is to the game since its a very interesting concept
Edit: Also, this seems like it should have been a multiplayer game
what game did you watch how the hell could this have been multiplayer player?
@@egbert5871 Doing the tasks would be easier with more than one person.
@@FishboyAbzu would need to rework the game then I feel since its already so short not cut the time in half since can do the task twice as fast. since as it goes with the story doesn't leand itself to be endlessly replayble with a friend. i mean feed, get temo, blood suck up shit. only 4 tasks
Gg on one million btw!🎉
Game looks great, at least if i can just enjoy watching it! Would love seeing you play more f it.
With such a reaction to millipedes, Insym definitely need to play the rain world hah
It was such a rollercoaster watching the video. Not because of Insym but the game kind of lacks something…
yooo congrats on a million
I just finishes watching the VOD lmfao
Same😂
Me too 😂
LMFAO that's the funniest thing eveeeeerrrr
8:08 "Centipedes shouldn't exist"
Don't worry, that's not a hot take. Centipedes are creepy and when they crawl on you it feels like HAIR.
I had two centipedes crawl up my leg (one where I was at a restaurant and another when I was ASLEEP 😭) and it was HORRIFYING. 😭
(I do get that they get rid of pests but I'd rather not see them 😅)
i hope you play this more~
1:39:23 meni meningidikidi 😂
Am I the only one who feels that the games voices are fucked up? like they are going between speakers?
Nope, the voices are so bad. idk how any game dev can mess up the audio this bad
Nice, would love to see you play more if there are any updates. For now I agree it’s pretty unfinished, not like I could do any better lol.
I only caught a few minutes of the stream yesterday because of life but now i get to enjoy.
they were both running around
Lol I think bug with the stereo on phone calls appears because of the idle animation is bobbing characters head and spins around the point where audio is playing... I am not sure, but may be it. But why testers haven't notice it then?
I've watched a few different youtubers play this game now. The beginning is so slow I fell asleep every time
FINALLY
i remember filing out a google doc for this game im SO HYPED (havent watched yet)
DONT LET THE GUN OVERHEAT ahh game
1:39:30 as a nurse it makes me laugh so hard because medical terms I can say just fine but computer and tech stuff I’m completely lost 🤣
I think you can take your own blood when the animals turn into monsters 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
Hoping there's going to be a second part with even other endings
Doc sounds almost exactly like the original narrator for How It's Made. Its weird.
I've long stated that Centipedes are undeserving of life, and hate every second of their existence. Thank you for sharing in that dislike of centipedes it makes me feel a little more justified
We need a perfect walk-through :)
Ahhhh the voices traveling between speakers really weirds me out in a uncomfy way not a scary way lol
Omg yeeeesss...!!! Finally here! Wooo!!!!
"WHY ARE YOU RUNNING CIRCLES IN MY HEAD" note to self don't play with headphones got it.
28:15 Too bad for me, I coincidentally have the same headphones as you, and it was in fact not so pleasant.
Insym: That journalist is not very nice, we should kill *her*
Journalist: Proceeds to put her life at risk (again) to save the main character
absolutely agree with you about centipedes
"You can't solve your problems with kindness."
The problems: 2:25:39
Tasty-looking slop
Jacksepticeye stoped with this so I’m here. I hope you continue. I want to see mother
You can just go look at her
@@lisas8614 that would ruin it I want to see his reaction and my reaction and we’ll have the same reactions
What is this last ending? It says the mother consumed Lily's body but Lily was already dead and apparently the mother only eats things she kills herself. They need to decide lol
Fun to watch but some of those bugs are a little to much to overlook
ZOOCHOSIS running sim
The boss sounds like Sullivan from Dead Rising 2
8:00 Agreed. They, like mosquitoes, shouldn't exist. Also, if you hate centipedes, (be they house type or giant scolopendra fuck tropical types), wait til you see velvet worms.
Goated
This voice. The old dude’s voice. I’VE HEARD THIS VOICE BEFORE AND I DON’T REMEMBER WHERE FROM. Help! It’s driving me crazy. What else was this voice from???
The voice actor for Doc is Tim Stephenson.
there is a site like this game irl in india where bill gates test new things(viruses etc ) on animals
YAYYYYY FINALLYYY
wished the game was a little more like the trailer but its still pretty good
It was a little disappointing but I know it just got released so I’m sure it will improve
Idk if ive ever been less scared of a horror game
For everyone who's wondering why the game looks and plays wird and why it sucks.
You can see in this video at the end that the main story writer died. They ruched the game while probably grieving.
Why they dont just say it on soziale media and ignore the 5 guys who would still be mad for delaying is beond me.
But i guess its to make some money to help hes family or something.
They cut too much, they ruched too hard and now we have this mess.
They may or may not fix it with patches, but the way it is now, its just another disappointment of a game in the 2020 era of gaming.
