I bought mine despite historical dislike for wavetable sounds - but my disting ex showed me they don't have to be all spikey weird sounds... One thing worth mentioning - there's an alt function that introduces a low pass filter effect albeit static AFAIK. Useful to soften it on a per oscillator basis. Mind you I still have a total dearth of filters so wondering what to use it with... Maybe a quad filter :) I've been trying my swn with harmonaig this week. That's nice fun... Ally thanks as usual for ridiculously good inspiration! Great vid as always.
It was mentioned on the live chat that the SWN might pair well with QPAS, and I'd be curious to see how it would do with something like Mojave or Arbhar, really leaning into that ambient drone kind of thing.
Glad we are getting the same sounds out of that bad boy. Another thing to try is to use it like you would the Odessa module. Would like to see your take on that.
It depends what’s going on in the rack. I often use it directly after a stereo oscillator as a dedicated filter for that oscillator, but I also like it near the end of the chain, before the reverb, so I can make nice reverb bursts ☺️

Best vid on this module
Glad you liked it!
That module is very Sci-Fi and beautiful sounding. Nice! There are some nice Rainbow Dome Musik moments in Jam 1.
Now that's not an album you see referenced very often! Way ahead of its time. 👍
You have given me new inspiration for using the SWN! Thanx!
Fantastic, enjoyed from beginning to end! thanks for the Inspiration. More jamssss
Very unique module indeed!!!
Sure is!

brilliant, ali!!
That looks like a powerhouse. Thanks for showing us, I would like to see some more patches made around it.
Great video. How about a video pairing it the the SWR resonator.
That would be cool! I don’t have the SWR unfortunately.
Great, now I also want this module 😅 would be very appreciated if you can also make some jams when pairing it up Qpas. Keep up the good work ❤

Oh it sounds epic with arbhar!
jams are always welcome, but I am definitely enjoying hearing you talk about what you're doing in your vids. so how about more narrated jams? ;-)
I’ll be back talking next week for certain :D
Just traded mine away lol! It sounds great but you either vibe with it or your don't. Watching this though, I may have to revisit someday...
you missed the clock input to show which is very very impoertant. regardless great video as always.

I’m not familiar with the Odessa module ~ is a processor?
@@TheUnperson I'm guessing he's referring to the Xaoc Odessa oscillator, which is an excellent voice.
I see your Dual Dagger jumps around quite a lot in your setups. Is there a specific reason or is it just part of your reordering modules for demos? 😎

@@TheUnperson Thanks! I guess having several would be even better! 😎
This and make noise cpo and telharmonic are my favorite oscis in eurorack.
Yet to try the CPO ~ it’s definitely on my radar tho!
@@TheUnperson sorry i meant xpo. sorry for the typo
Holy moly. I thought Maths was big enough. You need to build an extension to house that one too...😉
Hahah it’s some serious real estate for sure!
