I love my plants! I've always had them. As a child my mom had them. I have spent thousands of dollars. I don't drink and I don't smoke. I cook my own meals and entertain in my backyard with my BBQ.

If anyone is wanting a universal soil mix, good for seedlings and repotting. Buy a coco coir brick break it up in a tote or small kid pool and soak it with water so it bulks up. You can even wash it a couple times to get the extra salts and what not off. Then add it to a promix, your choice,hp,bx+,or either of the two 2 cubic foot ones at Walmart. I recommend the red bag bc the yellow already has coco and peat moss in it. Do a 1:1 ratio coco to promix or 2:1 promix to coco. That’s the base I’d use to build any super soil or any plants period off of. Tailor the rest of your soil mix based off plant needs. Major rule to new plant owners,or any plant owners period, under water before you overwater . To much water is more harmful then not enough.

Thank you so much for sharing this with us! I don’t know anything about hp or bx so I’m going to need a little more. Saving us money with the re wash tip. I will give this a try as well!

@@growingwithshawn the hp has perlite and more drainage the bx is their “all purpose” it has more water retention properties and their mpo is pretty much the same blend I talked about making myself.
