Just got a Hasty Bake a month ago. I have heard of them in passing, but never really researched them. Turned out it's exactly the style I have been searching for all these years. Time to sell some grills!
Nice review. I wasn't aware of HB until about three years ago. I love it's history and the adjustable firebox. I have a powder coated Legacy. I also have a M1 that you mentioned. It's also a very nice cooker and built very heavy duty. You mentioned gaskets. Is that a gasket I see at the bottom of your grill inside the door? If so, did you install it or was it there when you bought it. That is my one complaint about the HB and that is that it's not very air tight and I have a hard time controlling temps on longer cooks. I'm thinking of adding gaskets, at least at the bottom of the door since the gap is open to the inside of the grill.
