Exploring Kualoa Ranch | Touring Famous Movie & TV Sets: Such As JURASSIC PARK, Kong, LOST, & More

This week we head to Kualoa Ranch and go on a combo of a Hollywood Movie Site Tour and the Ocean Voyage Tour.
The Movie tour starts off with a brief history of who owns Kualoa Ranch, an old sugar mill ruins, and we get to enter into the historic WWII bunker called Battery Cooper. You get to see many famous movie sets, such as Lost, Kong-Skull Island,
The ocean voyage starts off by taking you on a short journey through the Moli’i fish pond. Here we witness an ancient fishing method Hawaiians used over 800 years ago. Fish swim in when they are small and eat the bait in the pond. They eventually get too large to swim back out and essentially get stuck in the pond.
We hop on a catamaran where we get epic views of Mokoli’i Island and the Kualoa valley. While we were hoping for sunshine and that emerald blue water, we luckily still got to spot some wildlife.
