Of course I like snake plants! I feel like they’ve fallen out of favor because they’re “beginner” plants, because they’re easy to care. But there are so so many different kinds! They come in all different patterns, colors, and sizes. Some of them get absolutely huge, which is appealing if you like big leaves and jungle vibes. And there’s small ones. There’s crinkly ones, there’s dark and light ones. So many lovelies to choose from! I feel like no one as seem a mature cylindrica (recently reclassified as something else); they are so wild

For snake plants, try looking for "sansevieria kirkii coppertone" for a dead and odd looking but beautiful 🐍 🌱 and "bantel sensation" for elegance which was in the middle but you ignored from the group of snake plants you were checking out 😆

Hey, Patrick! 👋 Great video. I love snake plants. They are so low maintenance. I've got two of the tall variegated varieties that I've had for over two years. I basically ignore them and they're growing like weeds. Last year(2021), they actually bloomed for me, producing small white flowers on a tall stock and lasted for a couple weeks. Unfortunately, they didn't bloom this year but hopefully they will in 2023. 🤞May looks like a very sweet fur baby. 🐕🐾🐶❤

I own a lot of snake plants and mourning the S. Cylindraformis (?) one of my cats killed. Among the survivors, my favorite is probably the Fernwood. It arches gracefully like the dearly departed and comes variegated in dark colors. It is on the dainty side for a snake plant. Thanks for another wonderful show. I live in NYC where we have some cool plant stores of our own but we don't have the nurseries that you are always taking your followers to.

Hi Patrick...loved your Cordova Garden tour. We started our snake plant collection several years ago. Our Mom had a trifascita snake that is at least 40 yes old & we are still maintaining it. During our planty adventures we discovered many new varieties. A few of my favorite snake plants are Twisted Sister. Golden flame & Moonshine.

Thank you Patrick. Cordova is such a great place to go to. Yes, I love snake plants. We have our mom's 40+ Year old snake plant and have been slowly increasing our collection I have various plants: I think my favorites are the Jaboa and Whale Fin. Tall versions include: Jaboa, Laurenteii, Zeylanica, Trifascista, Black Coral, Black Coral, Zulu, Gray Lady, Sayuri, Bantel Sensation, whale fin and verigated whale fin. Medium and smaller size: Gold Flame, Hahiii Gold, forest, Moonshine, Silver singer, twisted sister, Lilliput, Fernwood Mikado, Black Dragon, Samurai and a few others. I have a few more that I want to get.

Hi Patrick, I'm Dale Andrews, a "liker" and subscriber from Lake Charles, LA. Here, we're subtropical, but the last few days have been a bummer from my plants. While it hasn't frozen here yet this year (it's Dec.19,2020), I've still had to skoot my collection indoors because it's just too cold (low 40's) at night for them. Already, I can't wait for spring and it's not even officially winter yet! I hope they can survive under artificial fluorescent light, 'cause that's all they're getting for the next few days until it warms up again. Enjoy your videos. Keep them coming. 🪴🌵

In NM I always heard Cholla pronounced choy-ya, or just the common name, 'Jumping Cactus.' As for Snake Plants, I think my favorites are Bantel's Sensation, Black Gold, and Moonshine. I also have the 'old stand-bys' Laurentii and Zeylanica. And I'm on the lookout for a white variegated Masoniana

Those Fabian (I think) araulias are totally catching my eye every time I see them. But I need a small one.
I just picked up a p. Bipennifolium silver from my local nursery and it’s got the horse head shape but silvery blue leaves.

Judging by your choice of plants, I think you’ll like these snake plants:
    - starfish, each pup grows out like a star super cute and easy.
    - cylindrica, grows like a tube and it’s super cute. PLANTERINA sells them in a crown formation.
    - silver queen. Super cute and silver looking.
    - my favorite in my collection is the jaboa Jade. When the light hits it it has a slight green, but when you see it at night it’s super dark and pretty. Usually has some gold on the outsides that’s are pretty.

highly recommend checking the roots when buying from this nursery . i've bought a few plants from here thinking i got rooted plants . soon after taking them home , they started to decline & eventually die . when i inspected my plants , turns out they were UNROOTED CUTTINGS . i know they're a family owned nursery & i was glad to support them , but that turned me off from this place because that's so dishonest & fucked up .
