Shamrock was my fav wrestler. He’s a true badass. Would’ve been great if he stayed in the WWE longer. He could’ve had dream matches with the likes of Angle, Benoit and Jericho etc. His matches with The Rock through 98 were awesome and he was super over. They wasted him in 99.
Met him at a Chicago Suburban bar years ago. He was with Ryan Shamrock his storyline sister at the time. He could not have been a nicer guy, chatting with everyone. Many of the local Chicago area Windy City Wrestling which we were friends with worked at the bar so he was hanging with us for a little. A really cool guy.
I remember I had on the PPV so saw Blue Blazer like bang head on turnbuckle or hard to explain. The way he fell sorta knew something was wrong. Though didn't know if it was a dummy or real person from reactions. I don't think I taped it like ECW ones. People I know were at the DLo Smackdown in person. They were even talking about how weaker got from not doing roids unable to lift people for his move. Bareknuckles is better. Gloves allow a person to take more damage to the brain too. Its true my biggest worry is hurting my hand or breaking finger to avoid fights. The older UFC was better. Tough to do techniques in gloves or people grab them. I remember Kidman falling off top rope when first saw him before 7 year Itch :). Ken Rocks ;).

The word legend is abused like no other, but ken definitely is a legend and pioneer of MMA and he was an incredible Pro wrestler.
My favorite angle with him was when he rescued Stephanie McMahon from the Undertaker kidnapping her.

It’s a crime Ken isn’t in the hall of fame they are doing this dude dirty in my view.
