Whenever I feel worthless as a LMT I go back and rewatch your videos and immediately feel so much better! I pray one day I’ll get to meet you in person!!!!!! Thank you for all you do!!!!!!
I passed the MBlex on November 1st! I just got my physical license yesterday and I can’t wait to start practicing! Your videos are going to help me sooo much.
Sigh, just listening to the process, your hands interpreting into the body your words; a painting, layers of medium, stroke by stroke, reveals thought behind words; intention infiltrates and purifies.... The privilege of sharing a session with you - such a richness . Thank you
You are an AMAZING massage therapist! I just love watching your videos and dream of getting a massage from you! I just recently graduated massage school and hope to be amazing like you one day! Thank you for your teachings 🙏
You are the most richest holistic source and your teaching abilities are super natural! My Bodywork has TCM Background. You vid about the Lymph btw - how I found you to share with clients is of a higher realm 😉 Glad I found you!
I had a client with a tight Teres Major. I didn't know what muscle it was at the time. It's oddly great when i get a client with a tight muscle that I'm not papationaly familiar with; So good for learning, and your videos are great!.
Just the first two minutes alone is awesome information for how to work the lower lats! Upper lats are easier to focus on to get at and then the subscap after.
I wish I could work my own lats! I have be experiencing some inflexibility and feelings of slight restriction when using my upper body lately. Ive been unable to locate the source of my issue with my lacrosse ball (which I roll around on almost everyday). Stretching would help, but only until I had to engage the upper body and my arms again. I've been getting quite frustrated being a massage therapist professionally. Especially a massage therapist who is unable to locate or effectively treat her own issues! Gah! I wasn't even thinking about this group as the source, but when i pulled on my own lats while in a seated position. I was like ohhhh man! This is definitely an area I've been neglecting! Even just a short amount of gentle kneeding in my la , helped my shoulder blade find a more comfortable position in which to rest. My upper arm doesnt feel as restricted when checking my range of motion. Sweet! Now I can add the right stretches to my routine!! Now I can easily tough up these muscles when doing my general back and arm routine on my clients! Thanks a bunch!!
This technique will take some time & practice to master but I like it a lot! Thank you! I have so many clients who believe hard pressure is the answer. I have a difficult time trying to explain to them that is double work for me when you're not letting go. You have to let go first. I can see some of them having a problem with this technique because I can't drive my elbow into it. So in their head it isn't doing anything for them. It can be frustrating when I'm working an area like this & they respond with, "Don't worry, you're not gonna hurt me if you dig in more." Or "Feel free to use that elbow." They aren't even letting go yet. Patience please. 🧘♀️ 🙏
Am a great fun of your work massage, techniques, amazing drawings.. am Penny a masseuse all the way from Kenya,i really admire your works and appreciate you sharing the knowledge. I would like to know with a detailed kinda deep tissue full body massage how long would you recommend time wisely? Thankyou☺️
This was so amazing, my body wants to be your next client. Not sure where you are located so I'll do some follow up but wow I haven't found this work near me.
I love your videos !! If possible, do you think you can do a video of maybe how you would assess a client’s posture and deviations for myofascial therapy ?
I've been a qualified Sports Massage Therapist since 2005, and I find your channel refreshing and informative. I do find that my left wrist is now showing signs of arthritis - mainly aching - so I have to wonder how long I have left? But I've modified my strokes and pressure application which seems to help. I would like to ask, what session duration do you work to when treating a client? Keep up the good work. All the best from South Wales, UK.
That spot around 3:00 - I have a recurring area of inflammation there, on my left side. I think it is linked to stress. I want a deep tissue massage, specifically in that area behind/under my arm.
Thank you very much for your great videos. I have a quick question, when I tried out some of your technique such as moving the arm to the side and then forward, my model experienced a little bit of pins and needles in their hand. I moved their arm back to their side but what can I do to prevent this nerve impingement and why do you think it came about? Any suggest helpful.
How do you do your techniques with your fingers and kneading? I am a massage therapist, I work at a chiro office and I specialize in deep tissue. I've only been doing this for a few years, but I've had to change to using elbows and fists almost entirely because of the pain.
The scapula stuck forward is huge, imo. Most clients don't realize how locked they are around the lateral scapula. Looking at you, nurses, hair dressers, and factory/manual labor ppl.😏
@@stacer1962 Sounds like you have a passion about scapular positioning/patterns and particular ways you'd like it discussed. Do you have a channel/blog?
Maybe another way to put it that you might not object to is to say I had appreciate her working the lateral scapula when so often people come in complaining of medial lower or scapular soreness. They don’t realize that the subscap and lats have been reaching forward and the discomfort they’re having mid back is not necessarily all attributed to the spot where they feel it.
I’m watching this because my therapist did this work on me. She would ask me to wear a sleeveless shirt. I never did because I would always think, you don’t have to get down that far. So, I never did. I just wore a short sleeve t shirt. So here’s the problem. I had shoulder surgery. The surgeon didn’t do everything they were supposed to. To make a long story short, I didn’t need to get that area worked on. I still need my shoulder worked on. It’s looking like I’m going back in for rotator cuff surgery.
Is it dangerous for an untrained person to massage someone like this? My husbands right side of his back is a mess. Everywhere I push it triggers something. I try to massage him to help with the pain, but I am concerned that I might be making it worse?

I been to many massages' therapist and I never experienced a massage as detailed as this..

Amazing video!
This is the exact area on my body that needs attention. Great videos. Stay safe 🙏
That looks insane damn
When you mentioned the “funny looking flower” is that a reference for the nerves starting from the lower spine and branching out for that shoulder ?

That flower would be a nice tattoo
fabulous thanks
Where is she located again? I would definitely book an appointment. I'm familiar with her work.
I need this so bad

What type of massage would you say you do ?
7:37 roll that trigger point up!
9:00 - “So there’s all this talk about the origin of the humerus …”. I think you meant “the origin of the latissimus dorsi,” right?
Can u do a video on the serratus anterior???
New video yayy 🥰
Can you recommend any masseuses with your skills in Oregon ?
I would travel to meet you, learn from you, and receive your work.
Smooth.
