If there was a Nobel prize for massage therapy, you'd win. I've never seen another therapist like you. Your knowledge of anatomy and commitment to your clients is admirable.
Expert-level stuff. I'm a therapist myself going through a slump in work and motivation. So thank you so very much for the inspiration to get back into the game
Wow. Her muscles look so loose. My neck and back are like pushing on concrete. Wish I knew of therapists in my area that were at your level of technique. Looks so relaxing.
Thank you Alison!!! You are so amazing! I have been watching your videos since massage school in 2017 and I’m still watching and learning how to help my clients better!
This whole video looked so satisfying! I swear I could feel my own neck melt away as I watched this. I can't wait to try all these tips with my next client!
My wife was crying in pain before, after she was amazed at how good she felt. I had to set the frame, though, "this massage is for the well-being of you, me and the world NOW." Because she started to think i was here enemy. And then she projected here fears into the future so she could get them later. Like "it feels good now but you have to hurry because you have to pick up our kid" So tricky.
I own NJ School of Massage in Tom's River, New Jersey. I just love the way you massage even when it comes to deep tissue and ailments. The gentleness, caring and compassion that you give your clients is phenomenal. That's what I teach here at my school. You're the only massage video that I allow my students to watch. Thank you for all these videos.
I love your videos! I'm a medical massage therapist and I never seen any massage therapy like this. It's so inspirating! Thank you for these videos you help me to take my job more interesting. Love from hungary ❤️
You gotta let go. As you work listen to the form you are working with and let each person not be the same as the other. Yes the bodies are basically the same, and modalities are general, but YOU ARE Unique and so is your client. I have learned to listen to the clients not just the words they speak but what the body speaks. I have been at it for a while, I just found these videos last night. It's good to know that there are therapists still out there that actually care more about the messages of the body (the right way if you know what I mean). It strengthens and encourages me to keep going. Gonna try the products as well.
Your techniques are super impressive. Ive never had a massage like this one done in all my 30 years and gosh Ive looked and tried everywhere. Please come to Chile 🙏🏻
Every time when I seeing yours video I thinking - there is so amazing that exist people like you! You are really found yourself and enjoying what you doing. I can see you over and over again. Thank YOU!!!!
A very thorough and professional video. The best I have seen on RUclips in a very long time. You are very knowledgeable in your field. Stay safe and hod bless you for helping all of your clients.
Your videos are amazing. For someone like me that is not big on names of muscles etc & anatomy - it is like a whole new game for me. Absolutely love your videos. THANK YOU 🙏💞👍
I’ve been a LMT for a little over 6 months and you’ve shown me more techniques than my schooling. I’m really grateful for these, thank you! -LMT from Minnesota ❤
3:58 I have a client with migraines one one side. I tried this work on her, and it was really effective. She says this releases so much tension. Thank you!!
Completely agree! So glad to know I'm not the only one struggling lol. I have a difficult time doing deep work on more overweight clients - especially since they don't always have the best range of motion.
Yep I understand. Almost all these instructional videos use clients with ideal and easy to massage bodies, which in real life is usually not the case. How about some obese clients with very difficult to massage necks, or very thin clients that have almost no muscle?
The second half is amazing-separating shoulder from head - literally see the muscles(ligaments?) being stretched. How long have you been practicing? Who trained you?
U are my mentor how to my massage the client correctly thank y for sharing ur techniques i like ur style of massage i will try to use some of ur techniques for the good benefit for my clients.
My neck is so bad that I was cringing watching this the whole time but also would die for a real neck massage. I should look into it because if my neck is that tense, I might need help.
Suffering from neck pain despite physical therapy for three months although somewhat better.Massage therapists mostly newcomers in Fresno.. How do you teach them except for referring to your site? I do have a trigger therapy ok to learn some of the self massage techniques. What is Patreon?
Your body work looks very attractive, thank you for sharing this! One thing is a little outside of my comfort zone. You seem to be putting butter/oil into the client’s hair. That’s a big no-no for me when I receive a massage, and I avoid it for my clients as well by holding their head with a pillowcase in my hand . My hair is long to my mid-hip, and I wash it only once a week at most. I found my hair really greasy after one such work, and it had to be washed that day, being completely unpresentable. So I told my friend LMT to not do that anymore. Even if I washed it more frequently, I would still feel the same way. Do your clients not mind? Do you have any comments from them on this?
The best neck massage , thank you for shearing , can you please send me a video on how to release lower back pain , i will love to see that thank you .
Can you give me some language to explain the difference between strong muscles and hardened muscles and connective tissue. So many of my clients in rehab are educated by physical therapy to strengthen muscles. But little is educated about lengthening, relaxing and stretching muscles and connective tissue.
I find that due to the heaviness of people's heads my hands can get tired after doing this for so many years. Do you have any recommendations to save the hands?
Clients come in all shapes and sizes, I’d find it more useful to see a demonstration on a “bigger person”. I personally find it can be challenging , so would appreciate any advice on techniques.

Yes, massage therapist Queen. Very grateful for your generosity!
Where are you? Im watching this , crying, because everything you are doing here is exactly what ive needed for the past 10 years.
Wow. Her muscles look so loose. My neck and back are like pushing on concrete. Wish I knew of therapists in my area that were at your level of technique. Looks so relaxing.
This was BRILLIANT! As a fellow LMT, I’m so grateful for your wisdom and knowledge 🙌🏼
Thank you Alison!!! You are so amazing! I have been watching your videos since massage school in 2017 and I’m still watching and learning how to help my clients better!

Could you do a video like this on someone slightly overweight with a short neck? Just short neck would be great.
Completely agree! So glad to know I'm not the only one struggling lol. I have a difficult time doing deep work on more overweight clients - especially since they don't always have the best range of motion.
Absolutely agree !!
Yep I understand. Almost all these instructional videos use clients with ideal and easy to massage bodies, which in real life is usually not the case. How about some obese clients with very difficult to massage necks, or very thin clients that have almost no muscle?
They always choose young perfect bodies with soft muscles
Yes! It's so hard to work on the neck when the client has a short neck or is overweight.
Great video!!!! You’re awesome
The second half is amazing-separating shoulder from head - literally see the muscles(ligaments?) being stretched. How long have you been practicing? Who trained you?
