If there was a Nobel prize for massage therapy, you'd win. I've never seen another therapist like you. Your knowledge of anatomy and commitment to your clients is admirable.

Wow. Her muscles look so loose. My neck and back are like pushing on concrete. Wish I knew of therapists in my area that were at your level of technique. Looks so relaxing.

My wife was crying in pain before, after she was amazed at how good she felt.
I had to set the frame, though, "this massage is for the well-being of you, me and the world NOW." Because she started to think i was here enemy. And then she projected here fears into the future so she could get them later.
Like "it feels good now but you have to hurry because you have to pick up our kid"
    So tricky.

I own NJ School of Massage in Tom's River, New Jersey.
I just love the way you massage even when it comes to deep tissue and ailments. The gentleness, caring and compassion that you give your clients is phenomenal. That's what I teach here at my school. You're the only massage video that I allow my students to watch. Thank you for all these videos.

You gotta let go. As you work listen to the form you are working with and let each person not be the same as the other. Yes the bodies are basically the same, and modalities are general, but YOU ARE Unique and so is your client. I have learned to listen to the clients not just the words they speak but what the body speaks. I have been at it for a while, I just found these videos last night. It's good to know that there are therapists still out there that actually care more about the messages of the body (the right way if you know what I mean). It strengthens and encourages me to keep going.
Gonna try the products as well.

Completely agree! So glad to know I'm not the only one struggling lol. I have a difficult time doing deep work on more overweight clients - especially since they don't always have the best range of motion.

Yep I understand. Almost all these instructional videos use clients with ideal and easy to massage bodies, which in real life is usually not the case. How about some obese clients with very difficult to massage necks, or very thin clients that have almost no muscle?

Your body work looks very attractive, thank you for sharing this! One thing is a little outside of my comfort zone. You seem to be putting butter/oil into the client’s hair. That’s a big no-no for me when I receive a massage, and I avoid it for my clients as well by holding their head with a pillowcase in my hand . My hair is long to my mid-hip, and I wash it only once a week at most. I found my hair really greasy after one such work, and it had to be washed that day, being completely unpresentable. So I told my friend LMT to not do that anymore. Even if I washed it more frequently, I would still feel the same way. Do your clients not mind? Do you have any comments from them on this?
