The OTC box I am using in the video has been superseded by OTC-3398. The OTC kit does not work with GDI injectors. The Kent-Moore Active Fuel Injector Tester (CH-47976) offers some GDI injector support when you have the proper adapter harness. The Kent-Moore tool does similar tests but with greater sophistication (and price).
I reached out to OTC to get a copy of the instruction manual for the 3398. It looks like the 3398 only performs the injector balance test and not the coil test.
In another video,I suppose. I think, he just cover those type of injector. I hope it's going to be the next video. I am really interesting for testing the GDI injectors.
I'll see if I can put together a video with our equipment/vehicles. Some manufactures have a scan tool guided balance test for GDI injectors. It is generally done with the engine running and looks for a rise in pressure when an injector is disabled, rather than a drop with it open.

What's the model of the otc tester?I can't find it on the otc website. Also, this tester, can work with the GDI injector ,as well ?
