Hi Chris, I love this way of teaching, it is remarkable how engaged students become, I teach Grade 1 and 2 but have used the classroom rules with Grade 7 buddies and they had fun, stayed on task and it made managing 48 kids easy for my teaching partner and I. Our collaborative lessons engaged our students all because of the management that all the students could participate in. Our classes also have a high ratio of ESL students. Now called ELL in BC. English Language Learners.
Thanks for all the great videos. You're an amazing teacher. I love all the passion in your classes. I will teach my students this way and I hope I can share the results with other teachers in Taiwan. Thanks for making a difference.
the kids in my class might fight and scream and carry on... theyre annoying.... lol.... i just put the sheets on their desks or ask mature students to do it
Chris, this sounds good in theory but when I tried this with my 9 year olds, they started tugging and snatching papers to get it done faster. It should be mentioned that my class is probably one of the more troublesome ones though. What do you suggest to remedy this?

Rule one is terrific! I love the idea of giving a point on the scoreboard for moving quickly to follow directions!
I love rule one! It really helps the kids to get motivated and keeps up the pace of the class.
