Please consider getting counseling, not social media counseling. People can be cruel on social media. You children need their mom mentally healthy, and please don't rush into another relationship before you understand what went wrong in the last one or you'll just repeat your mistakes. It is time to create a support system, and you know we've got you back. Give yourself time to grieve. Just know this will pass. ✌️❤️

I grew up in a single mom household as well. Trust me your children will appreciate and value that you chose your happiness, you deserve your own happiness outside of being a parent, that is the best way to show your babies how to live. It’s amazing seeing you grow, and be so vulnerable. I remember your middle school makeovers to now seeing you make the best decisions for you and your family. Emotions are normal, crying is normal, and being a little nervous is normal! You’ve got this, give yourself some grace to process everything. letting your kids see you cry is okay, showing healthy emotions is okay, letting your kids know its okay to not be so strong 24/7 is okay, I know every woman is different, but allow yourself to feel every parts of the waves of healing and emotions the highs and the lows

@@jalazzyy Child support isn't only just for absent parents. When my parents divorced, my dad paid CS to my mom as listed in their court arrangement, even though they had shared custody. Since it was shared custody his payments weren't expensive at all, but that is one example of CS even though the parent is very active and involved.

This is why you marry before kids. I got married at 20 I’m 24 now. You did this to yourself sis. Marriage is like a cushion if you ever break up. Now it’s going to be hard to make sure you and the kids are financially stable. When you divorce with kids they start giving u child support and alimony as soon as your legally single and in some cases some of his retirement benefits. I’m sorry you had to learn the hard way. Marriage is for ur security if u and your children.
This really bothers me people have kids with out the intent to stay together. It’s so sad, me and my husband actually did a prenup addressing if this would happen and if we would ever leaned to divorce we went EVERY ROUTE to work it out. If it doesn’t I keep the house, I get alimony, if cheating is involved I get a pay out and if I cheat he gets a pay out. And we both have a will and trust set up for each other and a will. Also a blood trust for our kids, but we did both get our tubes sniped because we both refused to have kids with other people even if we are not together.

Just gave birth 5 weeks ago and the father who I was with for 10ths broke up with me 9 hours after I gave birth.
It’s been hard but so rewarding as my home is much more peaceful, happy, etc. Sadly my bd wants nothing to do with my son and is abusive… but GIRL as mothers we got this! Motherhood is hard let alone doing it solo but at the end of the day… it’ll get done❤❤

You already answered the most important questions. The babies and you are safe, you’re going to coparent with Matt, and you guys separated for private reasons. Anything beyond that is going to be a journey for you. No other questions need to be asked. It’s a tough road ahead of you, but you gave birth to two beautiful children. You already know you’re so much stronger than you realize.

I’ve been through similar and literally single handedly the only thing that helped me through was when I started praying more and talking to Jesus about the pain and heartache I had. I 100% wouldn’t have gotten better if I hadn’t gotten through the awkward stages of listening to bands like hillsong and maverick city music and praying for peace and better days. I was hoping this was click bait but I'm right there with you girl. And for those who say this is why u should get a ring um no I GOT THE RING AND HE STILL CHEATED. So I left because sometimes you gotta know ur worth. A ring and a piece of paper don't change shit. I'm sorry you're going through this BUT you are not alone. You are young look in your inner strength! I was a single parent of a disabled child we broke up before his birth. It wasn't always easy but look for support groups among other single parents. I’m sorry you are going through this. Remember crying infront of your babies isn’t weakness. It shows them that it is okay to feel their emotions and let it out. It will also make them feel better about opening up to you and crying to you when they are older. Keep it up !

This is very crushing but I've been through it. I tried to make it work until I realized it was just time to walk away and love myself and my babies. It will take a lot of time to heal over your family not working out and things not going as you imagined it. Stay strong and take it a day at a time. So sorry to hear this, I thought it was a prank. I hadn't seen you a while and last week I saw you guys and you seemed so happy and with a 2nd baby. The little girl looks just like him. I was a single mum at a young age as married at 19 and 7 years later divorced. I worked throughout it all which helped but was tough and took me a long time but I did great and turned out well in the end. I'm proud of myself brought my house paid for it, my daughter working and have her own flat and she's incredible. You stay strong and your kids will bring you joy even through the bad times, your path will guide you to where you should be even if you cannot see it now.

I'm new here but let me say that you're doing great! Parenting is damn hard and doing it alone sometimes feels monumental. You seem to have a sensible head on those shoulders. Keep your kids as your focus and take time to heal and find yourself. It's good that you're friends with their father but keep clear boundaries. Going forward there will be curveballs especially if either of you move on but if you keep your kids front and centre you will make good decisions. You can do this! I became a single mom after 18 years of marriage; my only regret was that I should have called it quits when I was pregnant because my son gave me a purpose to continue. Long story short, my son is now engaged and knows what a real marriage is about so obviously, I did a good job. I did not have any co-parenting options since I never did see his dad again after the divorce. I realize now that I always had it in me to raise a family alone, but on my terms. Keep your vessel full, get spiritual and continue doing what you love on your terms. The time with your babies is so fleeting, and that will be the real regret if you don't make the most with them. You've got this! Keep your energy and flourish with your own beautiful self. You deserve the best and so do your children. A partner is just that, your life is already full and beautiful, and a partner just adds to that. Blessed be!

Motherhood is new to me, and my pregnancy hasn't been the best because of the emotional roller-coaster the baby daddy put me through. Now I'm 8 months pregnant and single . A single mother also referred to as a “single mom” is an unmarried female aka single parent who has little to no support from the child/children's father.
You don’t have to be a single mom.
Take him to court for split custody.
No matter how sad you are. Remember you don’t have to do this alone. He needs to take care of his responsibilities. You will also need time for yourself!
