It was indeed Momoshiki who did it because if Kawaki didn’t escape from the clutches of Mitsuki, Shikamaru, and Sasuke, then Boruto’s prophecy that Momoshiki foretold wouldn’t have come true. It seems like Momoshiki would be willing to sacrifice his life (since Kawaki wants to kill all Otsutsuki, including Boruto) just to screw with Boruto. That is so petty, cold, insane, and just all around evil for someone to do that. This is exactly why Momoshiki is not like Kurama for Boruto, and they can’t make him redeemable. Kurama was a curse for Naruto who eventually became a blessing, but Momoshiki needs to be a curse for Boruto and only a curse. He needs to just be living Hell for Boruto.

There's one thing kishimoto knows how to do, and it's making broken heroes/villains. Boruto is now in the same league as itachi and obito. Also, sasuke once had everything that lost it all. I can't wait to see how boruto handles these challenges. Will he give into darkness, or will he be a hero in the shadows like itachi shouldering the hate of the world while still being a hero. Can't wait to see what kishimoto cooks next chapter. Hopefully, more death and emotion can't let boruto leave the without more to lose lmao.
I'm wondering if Kashin Koji ( Jiraiya clone) will come back into play... perhaps to help Boruto out. If he's laying low at Mount Myoboku chances are he might not be unaffected by Eida's jutsu.

Sasuke is a genius for giving Boruto his headband, Sarada knows that Kawaki isn’t Boruto and will tell Sasuke what happened and Sasuke would believe her. Also Kawaki isn’t that smart on copying Boruto so he might give out red flags that shows he isn’t Boruto and when everyone finds out, Kawaki will use force and make the villagers be in fear with his power and turn out like Ishikki and his abusive dad.

I was waiting for this chapter review all day! Top chapter of the Boruto series thus far by a long shot. Eida's omnipotence ability just completely mind boggled everyone in and out of the series and is just way too damn broken, that plot twist was insane. I wonder how Boruto will fight this ability in the future during the timesip. Loved the stream and your reaction to 292, hole to see more from Kishimoto's kitchen. This chapter honestly made my year and made Boruto my favorite manga definitively at this point. You did not have to add that legendary clip at the end tho dawg.

I watched the first scene of the anime with kawaki and boruto and came back to it about 2 months ago. I seemed to have this weird feeling that boruto seems to be the villain. Then this chapter comes out and it finally makes sense why i felt that

I don't see him becoming like Kurama at all. Kurama was filled with hatred because of countless people using him for their own ends and then sealing him inside themselves without a care. Naruto fought against his hatred, weathered the storm and overcame it to become his friend and partner. Momoshiki is a being incapable of love or compassion, he's just a parasite who wants power and doesn't care what he has to do to get it.
Kagyua fell in love and had children and loved them too. And I'm pretty sure orochimaru is the lost Otsuskis kid. So they can love. Who knows how that's going to work out later on between those two. I'm actually re watching Naruto for the fourth time and I'm right at the point where Naruto promises to come after all of the hatred in Kurama as well as the other hatred in the world. So these last few chapters of the manga have been hitting even harder!
Momoshiki is nothing compared to Kurama. He is totally evil all the way and not the kind of guy to have a change of heart. He had no backstory of any conflict or tragedies and was only born with one reason, to wipe out the world. Also to use Boruto and Kawaki to get his evil hands on the chakra fruit which most likely could be his weapon to destroy the world. Kurama had a tragic backstory. He had a sweetlife with Hagoromo before he got treated unfairly and been used as a weapon by his hosts. Kurama had a change of heart in the end thanks to Naruto's reverse psychology. They were able to bond and become friends. Boruto can never be friends with an otsutsuki who just wants to screw with his body. As far as I'm concerned, Momoshiki cannot be trusted.
I feel bad cause himawari won’t see boruto the same though she didn’t have a problem with him but I feel since the roles are reversed I feel kawaki could tell everyone what happened to naruto since he’s Naruto’s son now😔
I'm honestly hoping that Hima will see through the BS like Sarada being immune to Aida's power. Because she's the daughter of the Byakugan Princess and the nine tails jinchuriki and she scares Daemon, so I'm hoping she see's through the rewritten lie and knows that Kawaki is fucking with everyone. I at least want a heart breaking conversation with her and Boruto before he leaves the village to protect her and get their parents back. But we'll see.

Remember Boruto never even applied HIS lightning style to the Rasen-dan (Rasengan bullet). Never even activated the Jougan either. And if Boruto doesnt wake up against Kawaki Momoshiki eventually takes the fight because Momoshiki was beginning to see through Kawaki dojutsu
Basically....the show built up fun fillers, family moments to build up hype for when baruto loses everything..the reality of it his name his identity his memoryies his family friends his village... that's crazy
I think this is a little crazy for a good manga to do. Honesty if boruto gets away Sarada will tell sasuke and sasuke will disappear and take both of them to trade him.
Since Boruto isn't Boruto anymore and a rouge. Will he team up with Code to attack the village to get to Kawaki. Leading up the the start scene of Boruto. After the death of Sasuke, and he's trained by either Code or Kashin Koji. Might end up changing Code to the 2nd main character, and change his mindset from killing and vengeance to simply destroying the leaf. Idk. Too many possibilities. They love using fate and destiny so I think its leaning to Kashin being Borutos teacher instead. Recreating the child of prophecy.
Personally think Boruto will get a massive buff and training arc. He will obviously take his headband off and become a nomad. Next fight with Sasuke his headband will probably fall out of Borutos pocket. Boruto escapes the battle. Sasuke sees the headband and realizes its his headband. Realizes Sarada was telling the truth, Starts meeting with Boruto in secret and returns the headband, Kawaki notices Sasukes been acting different from Eida and attacks while Sasuke is meeting with Boruto. Killing Sasuke. Calling it now.

DNA test with himawari, unless eida changed their DNA its done, boruto can easly disprove them starting from the injured eye going from stating past memories and ending for a DNA test

The consept sounds interesting and impressive, but I think you’re giving the ability an overrated point of view in terms of despair and evil (as well as might). If it’s something that’s linked through chakra, then technically it can go both ways. Chakra isn’t something one holds dominion over, it is what links everything to everything, so everyone has the potential to be and understand everyone. However that link is used depends on whoever has the mightier desire. The link was used to amplify the shinobi forces, link everyone to Obito and Naruto, have Saskuke and Naruto see their entire lives with just clashing blows and understanding eachother. The Link is not for *one* being or technique to claim absolution or domain over. In short, it’s easy to claim superiority when you’re on the throne or in the seat and no one else wants it. TLTR: All she’s doing is playing the same tug of war chakra game, but with everyone’s minds. Except she’s blindfolded them so that they don’t even know they’re playing the game. More of a massive cheap trick given too much credit than an actual power to fear (like most of the abilities in Boruto).

So in short, due to Eida granting Kawaki's wish, Kawaki is the 7th Hokage's son and Boruto is the outsider who was adopted by the Hokage and his family. Biologically Boruto is still Naruto's son. But in the eyes of the world he's an outside who killed Naruto and now he's going to be treated as a rouge ninja. There is NO timeline shift, it's a reality warping genjutsu like kotoamasukami but it affects more than one person and only Otsusuki can use it.

I honestly hate that the Boruto manga got so heavy. Naruto had such a difficult life and worked hard to accomplish his dreams. I feel like this is just taking a big dump on everything for him. He's locked away in another dimension and his son is fleeing for his life from the village. It just feels like Naruto won't get his happily ever after with his family...

I was waiting for this chapter review all day! Top chapter of the Boruto series thus far by a long shot. Eida's omnipotence ability just completely mind boggled everyone in and out of the series and is just way too damn broken, that plot twist was insane. I wonder how Boruto will fight this ability in the future during the timesip. Loved the stream and your reaction to 292, hole to see more from Kishimoto's kitchen. This chapter honestly made my year and made Boruto my favorite manga definitively at this point.

sasuke ain't immune because we saw him on the panel with the leaf being on the side of kawaki while we don't see sarada or sumire on kawaki side and these are the only one confirmed to not be affected by eida ability

I don't see him becoming like Kurama at all. Kurama was filled with hatred because of countless people using him for their own ends and then sealing him inside themselves without a care. Naruto fought against his hatred, weathered the storm and overcame it to become his friend and partner.
Momoshiki is a being incapable of love or compassion, he's just a parasite who wants power and doesn't care what he has to do to get it.
Kagyua fell in love and had children and loved them too. And I'm pretty sure orochimaru is the lost Otsuskis kid. So they can love. Who knows how that's going to work out later on between those two. I'm actually re watching Naruto for the fourth time and I'm right at the point where Naruto promises to come after all of the hatred in Kurama as well as the other hatred in the world. So these last few chapters of the manga have been hitting even harder!
Momoshiki is nothing compared to Kurama. He is totally evil all the way and not the kind of guy to have a change of heart. He had no backstory of any conflict or tragedies and was only born with one reason, to wipe out the world. Also to use Boruto and Kawaki to get his evil hands on the chakra fruit which most likely could be his weapon to destroy the world.
Kurama had a tragic backstory. He had a sweetlife with Hagoromo before he got treated unfairly and been used as a weapon by his hosts. Kurama had a change of heart in the end thanks to Naruto's reverse psychology. They were able to bond and become friends.
Boruto can never be friends with an otsutsuki who just wants to screw with his body. As far as I'm concerned, Momoshiki cannot be trusted.
I feel bad cause himawari won’t see boruto the same though she didn’t have a problem with him but I feel since the roles are reversed I feel kawaki could tell everyone what happened to naruto since he’s Naruto’s son now😔
I'm honestly hoping that Hima will see through the BS like Sarada being immune to Aida's power. Because she's the daughter of the Byakugan Princess and the nine tails jinchuriki and she scares Daemon, so I'm hoping she see's through the rewritten lie and knows that Kawaki is fucking with everyone.
I at least want a heart breaking conversation with her and Boruto before he leaves the village to protect her and get their parents back.

The consept sounds interesting and impressive, but I think you’re giving the ability an overrated point of view in terms of despair and evil (as well as might). If it’s something that’s linked through chakra, then technically it can go both ways. Chakra isn’t something one holds dominion over, it is what links everything to everything, so everyone has the potential to be and understand everyone. However that link is used depends on whoever has the mightier desire. The link was used to amplify the shinobi forces, link everyone to Obito and Naruto, have Saskuke and Naruto see their entire lives with just clashing blows and understanding eachother. The Link is not for *one* being or technique to claim absolution or domain over. In short, it’s easy to claim superiority when you’re on the throne or in the seat and no one else wants it.
TLTR: All she’s doing is playing the same tug of war chakra game, but with everyone’s minds. Except she’s blindfolded them so that they don’t even know they’re playing the game. More of a massive cheap trick given too much credit than an actual power to fear (like most of the abilities in Boruto).

Worldwide Genjutsu, but it actually affects the real world and the ENTIRE planet. So Boruto Uzumaki never existed, instead Kawaki Uzumaki was the Son of The 7th Hokage. Boruto is the outsider with a ton of power in his hands instead of Kawaki and in the eyes of the village and then the world soon, he just killed The 7th Hokage.
So in short, due to Eida granting Kawaki's wish, Kawaki is the 7th Hokage's son and Boruto is the outsider who was adopted by the Hokage and his family. Biologically Boruto is still Naruto's son. But in the eyes of the world he's an outside who killed Naruto and now he's going to be treated as a rouge ninja.
There is NO timeline shift, it's a reality warping genjutsu like kotoamasukami but it affects more than one person and only Otsusuki can use it.

Kawaki on the other willing made a choice, a conscious choice to kill off the Otsusuki Clan including Boruto because of Momoshiki. That and he made wish to have his life and Boruto's lives reversed so now he's the 7th Hokage's son and Boruto is him, an outsider and someone who killed the 7th Hokage (In his words)

I honestly hate that the Boruto manga got so heavy. Naruto had such a difficult life and worked hard to accomplish his dreams. I feel like this is just taking a big dump on everything for him.
