It saddens me just how incredibly trashy sluggish 40-pages per month is. Monthly mangas usually have 60-80 pages each chapter, but Boruto manga is just slow af. No wonder anime is -80% otsutsuki- 80% filler

The reason Boruto feels slow has nothing to do with page count. Chapter 75 had so much content for 40 pages that it felt like it was 100 pages. The problem is inconsistent use of those 40 pages.

Several panels can be cut down to just one and there'll be more space to progress the story in that chapter but no its just wasteful panelling. The story feels way too stagnant and slow
