- In this video, we describe the ultrasound-guided approach to blocking the sphenopalatine ganglion, including a review of relevant neuroanatomy, sonoanatomy, rationale, technique and tips and tricks.
What an amazing and informative presentation ! Thumbs Up 👍🏻
Great resource of info
When doing this for PDPH or cleft palate, do you need to block bilaterally, or is injecting from one side enough to get both in the fossa?
Nice work!
Appreciate the efforts taken for this video.
One query - For PDPH,
DO WE NEED TO HAVE BILATERAL SPG BLOCK?
after you have ID the bony landmarks in the trans view rotate 90 degrees to get in in plane approach to see the needle
I always get excited when I get a notification about a new video. Very nice work.
I have a question. How is this approach compared to the transoral approach?
amazing
Thanks so much!
thanks for the video i have one q
u inject in the infratemporal region. will this spread to the fossa and block the ganglion ? or u have to inject with the fossa ?
Could you please provide a link to the journal article "J Anaesth crit care open acess 2015;3:14", Regards
Have you tried this for awake nasal intubation?
Can this method be used for nerve damage around the eyes or in the nose?
Hello, do you also have nerve inflammation in the nose area?
