Thank you for the kind words and for doing this demo. This is an awesome video and you did a great job covering all of the ins and outs of our joints. We truly appreciate the support! Looking forward to seeing more of your projects.
Very cool! I'm glad you approve! Anything to help out fellow Haunters and spread the word about great products so we can all raise our game!
I tried to buy some joints but unfortunately you don't ship to Australia, do you think you be shipping to Australia in the future
@@Djr481 I have actually shipped stuff to Queensland, I have a buddy there. Right now shipping its outrageous. They are hammering us. Its cost me 48$ to send 4 t shirts over and it was 106$ to send over a 10 pound box. That's insane. May when things calm down ( they blame covid) Spider Hill might be able to get an order to you without losing money. Shipping anything here is insane right now.
@@CobwebsandCandlesticks totally understand that, shipping companies are mad over charging in this crisis. I will definitely look at those for next year's haunt build and with your you tube site and Facebook page we might see a surgance I Halloween here in Australia may be worth while sending in large quantities
@@Djr481 We can ship to Australia. Please send me an email at info@spiderhillpropworks.com and I’ll be happy to get you a quote. Please include what items you would like and a shipping address. We do not charge any extra for shipping. Beyond the cost, it is taking several weeks to get there. I have one in route right now that was shipped about a month ago and still has not arrived. Thanks!
Thanks for this demo. I discovered Spiderhill and now I am a customer thanks to you.
Ohh cool! I love the joints! It makes life so much easier than heating pvc with a blowtorch, hahaha. I always end up grabbing a hot spot of molten plastic too.
The spider joints just changed my whole game. I’m gonna make a bunch of zombies in the next few months and this just saved so much labor
@@tommynorcal cooool!! They totally make life easier and keep your props flexible for changing up next year. I love using them!
People who saw this video and are now obsessed with these full size prop builds👇
Its always fun to go big! I've always used pvc to build life-size props but these joints really open up your poseability!! Its an awesome product and I don't make a cent off suggesting it.
I'm saving to buy a kit to make a grave digger just like Mortimer any tips?
@@JSHAUNTS thrift stores!!! Used men's trench coat, old work boots, even a shovel from a thrift shop. I used a holesaw to put through his boots to set him over rebar so he stands by himself but he can lean on his shovel for support.
@@CobwebsandCandlesticks ok thx for the tips love ur channel and will ever make another full size prop
Thank you for this! I just got my Spider Hill kit in the mail, and I was a bit intimidated by it, despite how simple it is. I've never built something like this. I'm a visual learner and after watching you work with the pieces, I had my frame built up in 10 minutes! Excited! Thanks!!!
That's awesome Sunny!! It's really user friendly stuff and you can change your bends to suit how you want display your prop and even change it up from year to year! I'm the same- hands on learner! I do much better with parts in hand. You are welcome kind Sir!
I love that you plug and support your fellow prop makers. I can't wait to see the end of your mummy, he has a really great structure!
I'm a firm believer in sharing the love! Its helps us all grow as viewers, channel owners and creators of media art. There is enough room for all of us!
Thanks for sharing dude. I've been looking for something to make my PVC mannequins look more realistic.
@@kurtgally526 Spider Hill is your hook up!! Awesome company, awesome product!
HOLY HELLZ! I need these in my life! It's things like this.... amazing but simple idea " I wish I had thought this up" that make a prop builders life so much easier! Great video! Thanks for the info!!!! ^v^
I hear ya Ragman! So simple! It would be a million dollar design! Every haunter needs poseable pvc joints in their life!

All the best dear 🥀🌺💐❤️
Plz stay connected 🙏🙏🙏
OMG!!! Thank you..I'm going to order a kit today. This will make building sooo much easier and I can even replace some already made. Thanks again.
My pleasure!!! Spider Hill has awesome product and fast shipping! You won't be disappointed.
Wow what a saving grace and affordable. I am certainly going to have to check out what they have and put together a new 1:1 figure.
They literally cant be beat! I'm gonna throw some more joints in the mummy I think. Every home haunter needs this stuff!
These joints would be so handy to have! Thanks Cobwebs!
They are the only way to go Bluff! No more heat guns and blow torches! You could set a prop in just about any position with these.
Great vidoe thanks. Can you list the measurements you used pleased.
The legs were 32 inches tall and the rest of the inches are written right on the front of the PVC pipes in black magic marker. If you pause the screen you should be able to see them. The neck was 6 inches also. Hope this helps.
@@CobwebsandCandlesticks no even when I make it as big as I can on my I pad it's hard to see.
Let me know if these are correct shoulders 5.5, body 17, hips 3 inches, 7 inch bicep, 8 inch for arm, 6 inch neck Thanks for mentioning these in the video.
Yep, those are the actual measurements for that guy. You can always tweak them to fit your build too!
@@CobwebsandCandlesticks Thank you very much.
Such a cool product. Wish I had known about these before starting my PVC spider. It would have been awesome to be able to adjust the legs. I'll definitely be using them in the future though.
I ordered extra for a spider! Lol, they are a great system and would totally benefit a spider If you moved it from year to year in different poses. They ship fast too! Great company!
I have no PVC or Pool Noodles, but I'm here to cheer on my haunt fam! 👻
Guuurrll! You need to hit up Dollar Tree and load up!!!! You dont know what your missing!! Lmaooo
Wow beautiful sharing
Thank you Khaleda!
ABSOLUTELY AWESOME! I bought (4) mannequins a couple of years ago and could have saved a bunch of money making my own from these parts. Wish I would have known about these folks then but hey? I've got (2) more cosplay characters to build for and it looks like I'm going to Spider Hill. Thank You for your introduction to them and Thank You for very informative videos / how to's! I'll keep watching!
Ohh that's awesome Hyway!! They are great folks with a great product ans gave awesome customer service. On top of all that they are affordable! They will take your props to the next level.
Awesome job once again! Cool info.
Thank you Morgue! This product is a home run! Great for full size figures.
I love their joints I've used them in 2 animatronic props (Swaying zombie and ground breaker) and one static prop. I'm planning on making at least one more animatronic before October. Other people do make these joints but are redonkulous on their prices (do a quick Amazon search for PVC joints and you will jump scare at the prices). I would never order from anyone else. They do have prop plans for everything they sell on line with dimensions for each pipe section.
That's awesome! I've only thought from Spider Hill but love everything I've bought from them. Their joints are perfect for animatronics. I really want to do a massive spider and I know these will be perfect to articulate it to fit in any space that might be awkward or uneven.
Great video! I bought 4 kits all thanks to you! 🎉
Dang, that's cool!! They make a great product. I really need to get their motor kit to animate a witch for next year.
This is so cool and came together really fast. Those joints are awesome!
You can bang out full size structures fast and get great poses for them. Then it's right onto pool noodles!!!
This video is a life saver, was taking a more headache method, but this saves so much time Thanks for posting ! and @spider Hill Props Works great work on the Kits.
They've been around for some years and they have it down so there's no need to print your own, lol. It's such an amazing system for doing full size props. And they hold up too!
AND THE OSCAR GOES TOO:
COBWEBS AND CANDLESTICKS!!
for the best performance of a burning
hand!!! LOL
you do make me laugh, that's for sure!!
God bless and I love the video
Thank you Den Mother! I've paid my dues melting my hands on hot pvc. I'm sticking to spider joints from here on out!
Yes pvc rules due to durability!
I love love your channel name, btw. I wish I had a spooky rock band named after your channel. LOL. It would rule.
Morticia
Thank you! You can totally take my name and use it for a band name! Yes pvc is lightweight and you can take it apart if you dont glue joints.
Fill the pvc with sand that's been e
Heated in the oven to about 350 degrees.. you can bend and shape them however you want and they wont deform / no crease
That same trick works with steel pipe and a blowtorch.
Did you say you were going to play with them a little bit? Lol. Do you still like the joints, Kieth?!
Absolutely!! Still a great product! Always play with them!
@CobwebsandCandlesticks Thanks, Dave, I mean Kieth!
Thank you! This is exactly what I need, Cobwebs! It's called a "Spider Joint" right? I can't wait to see what you make with yours!
Yes Mam Fraidy! 1 inch spider joint! Such a great product for building pvc frames for full size bodies. Totally ingenious!
Duuuuude! I seriously almost ordered this exact stuff from Spider Hill yesterday! Haha! I love their products, they make prop building sooo much easier and awesome! Great video buddy! Cheers🤣😍🎃👍
Lol Steve, I just put in another order so I have extra pieces for builds down the road. They also make a 5 way fitting. They really have the home haunter in mind with thier engineering!
Thank you so much for this video. This is exactly what I needed.:)
Yay!!! Its a really unique product!
Pretty cool!
They make great stuff! Very good engineered stuff.
Great inspirational video, and I was gonna build my own props, 💀☠️ using these joints you so much recomend, however on a sower note, this company DOESN'T have any of the joints you used, all 'OUT OF STOCK' someone there didn't do a projection of sales on said items, for Halloween they could've made a few more💴💶 dollars, oh well their and my loss, gotta find a substitute.
Thanks
There really is no substitute Sergio. I've seen other knock offs or 3D printed stuff that I didn't trust. It's October so im sure they are tapped out. I order early so I have parts by summer to build my props. It shouldn't take them long to restock though.
@@CobwebsandCandlesticks Hi thank you for the info, Ryan has responded and I'm excited, about getting them joints.
Some other animatronic artist in RUclips (don't remember his name) recommends SpiderHill products!!
Let's hope I can get my hands on those joints.
Keep up the good work, I've seen your video 3 times today! Thanks for sharing with us amateurs, some of your extensive knowledge and expertise and know how!!
They will take care good care of you! Your gonna love their stuff! Your props are gonna be awesome with great poses and you can still break them down for storage too!
Are you the voice of dandee Santa!?
Possibly.....hahaha, you never know!
Awesome 🎃💀🧟♀️👹
Thank you Susie! SPIDER HILL makes awesome stuff!
I love those joints but they actually melt and bend in the Phoenix heat.
I get extremes here in Indiana so I'll watch for movement on them. If I have to I'll put a metal rod reinforcement right over it and corpse it in.
I thought you might have run your arm into your knife at the beginning, great video will order them, thanks.
You won't be disappointed Big Dog! If only you can find 1 inch PVC!! My Menards was sold out!
Anybody else keep waiting to see him brush/hit his arm against that knife blade after he stuck it into the table?🤣
My extensive ninja🥷 training will not let that happen! Plus I have a certificate of 6 minutes of OSHA online training videos under my belt. Safety first!
Joints are $3.50 each
@@costumesforalloccasions now they are but they were cheaper then
Awesomeness!!!! Ty
Your very welcome!
Hey Kieth, Dave here. Did you make the guy to the right with the lantern? If so did you make a video of how you built him?
Yep Dave!! That's Mortimer my Grave digger. I believe I have 3 videos on how I made him up on my channel.
But you're taking way that great smell of melting PVC.. LOL
And melting flesh stuck to the melting pvc! Hahaha, it's not haunting till somebody loses some skin.
KEITH Do you have a formula for figuring out how many inches you want your body to be?
@@costumesforalloccasions nope, I go off my own measurements and scale up or down.
@@CobwebsandCandlesticks thanks!
@costumesforalloccasions anytime Dave!
Hola estoy interesada en el artículo de articulación del esqueleto como poder comprarlo ya que soy de chile y no se puede por la página y no lo encuentro en Amazon ni en otra
As far as I know there is nothing like these joints on Amazon. I would only buy from Spider Hill to make sure you didn't get sone cheap foreign 3d printed knock off.
@@paolasaez6669 Spider Hill will ship out of U.S.A. if the order is big enough. They will make exceptions to help folks get product. You can always contact them through the their website and see if they can take care of you. They are a great company! I hope this helps you out.
Thanks, those are gonna be so useful! 👍🏻. I wish I’d discovered them a year ago when I was making my giant spider (I copied this guys spider design : ruclips.net/video/_JTW6whz7E8/видео.html ). I really struggled to figure out a way to make the spider leg joints posable yet strong enough to support the critters weight. Those are perfect for my next spider project.
These are the perfect fix for that! They even go beyond a 90 degree angle which makes all the difference and you can even adjust them if you want to change the shape of your prop!
