    Out of all the high end videos out there this is the first one that literally walks you step by step...showing the parts at Loews, and then the pieces laid out on the floor is genius ...for those of us that are beginners this is a very clear walk through...now I dont feel so lost in doing this!

    PVC pipes seem to be „dirt cheap“ in the US. Might be because its the most important material for Halloween props 😊 Here in Germany you can multiply the price with 4. Nice video!

    Really great tutorial and the pool noodle idea is great. Some tips that might be helpful to people that werent mentioned in the vid.
    I recommend getting more footage of pvc pipes if you’re trying to make a character like Jason Voorheez. Hes like 7 feet tall so just add on what you think you’ll need. I mostly used this vid as a rough blueprint of mine and it worked out great. happy halloween!

    Only one criticism. They all look great, except that ghost faces straight arm is way too long, his hand looks like it is hanging down by his knee.
    These look like easy frames to build. I may have to try a few for my props. I especially like the rib cage addition to yours. Thanks for sharing.

    I'm gonna do this once I get ahold of the 25th anniversary movie edition Ghostface costume. I wanna just have him up in my room.
    For the torso, I'll use an old pillow to bulk it out. And the head I'll use will be a Styrofoam head covered in duct tape. With a black morph mask underneath so you don't see the duct tape.

      I had a couple of comments about the foam head. I will definitely go that route in the future. I had that crappy cardboard left over from another project, so it worked out but I have plans to make some more.

    What kind of glue could we use if we plan on deconstructing for storage?

    • @platinumdragon7
      @platinumdragon7  Год назад +1

      If you want to make it so you can deconstruct it and reconstruct it you may want to drill holes and put screws through them. Then parts you don’t want to take apart use plumbing adhesive

    • @platinumdragon7
      @platinumdragon7  4 года назад

      There's sites online where you can get them even in off-season. foamnoodles.com/ has them. If you don't want to use foam noodles you can also put plastic grocery bags around them and wrap them in duct tape. Anything to add some bulk.
