Merci, j'adore ton vidéo, je pense que je vais couper un de mes bouleaux et le gréfer à quelque sortes de pommes rouges, vertes et jaune... Imagine seulement le mélange des fleures au printemps!!!
i work in a tree nursery and we did it around easter. we also make a cut in both ends, these cuts slide over each other , it makes it better attached I'm also dutch btw :p
Hi there, Nice video, educational and funny, you must be Dutch. The Dutch are growing plants as natural as the chicken is laying eggs. One think that I did not hear (maybe you said it): then is the optimal time of the year to do such grafting. From your video I guess it was late Feb or early March (before the buds are breaking). Cheers, Chris
Looking good, my only advise when you have the same size wood is to make a whip & tongue graft, it hold your scion in place nicely for wrapping with electrical tape. Forget about heating wax, use the Doc. Farwell's in link below, you'll never look back. When you have different size wood...this is my method. Google Konrad's modified bark grafting
Can you post an update on how it is now? I was looking for some grafting techniques and found yours. It's the most original and funny video I found on the subject, thanks for that. Hoe komt het dat je zo goed Nederlands(Hollands, geen vlaams) kan spreken? Merci encore pour cette video super ludique ;-)
Thanks Lloyd! That was really informative and fun (as always with your videos) .. Puts me in the mind to go out and work in my yard!
really a good effort, thanks a lot, god bless you

Most of them are now out (2 1/2 month later). On some there are leafs of about 5cm long, and on some other it's only a bud waking up.
