Because of your Chanel I tried EGO. I started with the push lawnmower now I have 5 of there yard maintenance tools. As a heavy diesel mechanic for 30 plus years. I’m not easily impressed. But I really do like the EGO tools I have and do recommend them to people I know. A couple months ago a group of men from church got together to clean up an elderly woman’s yard. I went and purchased the EGO chain saw. I was surprised big time just how well it cut no lack of power. I bucked up 4 down trees all 8-10 inch diameter and 30-40 feet long. 16 inch long sections all on 1 battery. Had to change out the battery for the last to cuts. Very good product

yes but i think, lets say this for an example: for a gas powered chainsaw 145$ for an battery powered chainsaw. the gas one you put 1-5$ dollars of gas in it and you're ready to work. the battery one. you need a charger or 2 or more, a battery or more and that will be like maybe 300$ just for that to power the chainsaw. so if you're starting a business, do you want to pay 455$ or 145$ for and when you pay 455$ you pay for at battery powered chainsaw that isn't even more powerful than a 145$ gas. Of course there is less maintance on the chainsaw, but if you dont abuse it, and take care of it, clean it after every use, buy a service kit every year. it will hold up for like 5+ years. and batteries wont even last that long so.

Battery chainsaws are better at cutting the big issues is the battery life, recharge times, upfront battery cost.

I'd have never thought the chainsaw would get that many cuts from it... got a 60V dewalt leaf blower that drains the batteries in under 5 minutes of full throttle with the $300 batteries after that experience i stuck picked up a used Stihl gasser. Only good experience I've had with larger battery operated tools is the ION gen 3 ice augur.

It really looks like the EGO is making a nice lineup. I bought a Dewalt 60v chainsaw 2-3 years ago and I was impressed. I cut up a large pine that went down, limbed, chunked with 2 bars left. The only complaint I have is that it leaks bar oil.

Friend wanted a new push lawnmower was always complaining about gas, getting it to run, having to bag. Suggested an EGO, nope don’t want a weak cheap pos mower. Told her, you don’t like it I’ll buy if from you. Liked it so much refused to let me touch it. Still has the mulching plug in place with standard blades. She’s so impressed with its ability to mulch and not need to bag the grass she won’t even let me put the mulching blade on it. Loves that it doesn’t make her tired out just trying to start it. Only thing better would be a rider. 😂 I think she even likes the challenge of trying to keep up with it by setting the speed on high. Now she cuts the lawn whenever the neighbors are out just to put on a show and make them all ask about it.

It was watching your videos Stan that first put me onto Ego.
using your reviews and doing my own research I started looking to purchase.
First I looked at the new ZT with the steering wheel but after costing it and using one on demo it wasn't for me
    (got a bobcat instead 😁)
however that gave me the confidence to buy ego's small power tool's.
I'm a professional Arborist in the UK so I bought the Ego top Handle chainsaw, I can seriously vouch for that peice of kit, I run it as my everyday saw, not mad keen on the powercord lanyard... But it's a starting point.
It also came unhooked & fell 60ft onto tarmac pavement😅, the only damage it sustained was the oil sensor is comes on more frequent, but mega robust💪🏻
Front there I got a hedge trimmer (domestic model) which blew me away & just recently the new 4500 loop handle line trimmer a very good but of kit but it easy through 4ah batteries, much better with the 5ahs
Next I'm looking to get more batteries, get the new csx5000 ground saw, a long reach hedge trimmer & a pro short arm hedge trimmer.
I'm completely sold on Ego & expect to be running 70-80%
    Battery by 2025 ⚡

They make some nice tools, but the batteries don't seem to last for more than 2 - 3 years. When you go to replace batteries, it's usually only a little bit more to buy the tool packages vs just new batteries.

I have tools that plug into the wall that have been working for 60+ years and gas powered tools that have been working for 40+ years. None of my battery tools stand the test of time. Most die in a year or two.
I need to make money with them friends. They need to work when I work.
I really wonder what takes more time at this point. Charging, buying and waiting for batteries or plugging a cord into the wall.

I love my ego gear. I would totally buy that power washer if it works from a static source. Currently when I power wash my dock or boats I have to run a long hose from my house across the road to the washer. It’d be very nice to use just that unit. I’ve tried the dewalt power washer thing but it’s not enough power. I also tried feeding my power washer with a pump which worked but is a pain compared to 200 feet of garden hose.

I just got my EGO Mini Bike last Friday and it's been an absolute blast so far. Love all of my EGO tools as well. I have the weed eater with extendable shaft, chainsaw, light, and leaf blower. That light might as well be stadium lighting, I can light up like 2-3 acres of my property when I put that on the porch at max brightness lol. I forgot electric vehicles have to work perfectly in the Midwest winters. There was a story, that electric vehicles became lead weights during a below zero cold spell in Chicago. So, I'm never going to say, that electric vehicles are not our future, but batteries are perfected as of yet. This last winter was mild in the Midwest, but it's not always that way.

Depends on the calipers and capacity on the vacs. They all are good bigger diamiter hose it needs to be shorter, and visversa! Somay on the market .i love my Milwaukee work vac light and easy storage and stavkable for space.
The mower depends on how level, yes acre & a half run time!not cut time.for proper cutting on the highest level as well.

A gain cutting dead dry weeds and tall grasses and shrub brush
A time saver that's the difference between that. And hand sorry my neighbor has the save the planet concerned but after one season he's asking to use my old faithful USA gasoline powered equipment and I looked at his charging setup there's no space saving takes more room then one would have planed on. 😤
      NOW USAGE
round one or two maybe three! But good old reliable gas has definitely dependability and space savings less weight those batteries versus how longer one gallon of gas will weigh and how much more you can cut.
WHAT I DO LIKE IN BATTERY POWER! IS
      MILWAUKEE'S
      BATTERY
      BLOWERS
I FOUND THEM TOBE A VERY RELIABLE
      PRODUCT AND A INTERCHANGEABLE BATTERY
      SIZE AS WELL.
IM ALL MILWAUKEE JUST BIAS I HAVE THAT DESISION 🤔BATTERY? NOT ALL HAVE MY HEART IM OLD SCHOOL IT MADE US TODAY! BUT?
THERES A WHOLE VENUE! AN NEW GENERATION OF THE FUTURE,IN
PRODUCTS THAT JUST CANT CATCH MY ATTENTION! Being honest. 🤔💯🎯
      NO OPINION ON THE AUGER
HAVEN'T SEEN IN USE OR TRYING A DIGGER ! ALL I CAN ßAY IS A GALLON OF GAS IS LIGHTER AND GOES FARTHER THAN NEEDING THE LAWN TRACTOR TO HALL ALL THOSE HEAVY BATTERIES NEEDED TO DO LESS THEN THE LIGHTER 1 GALLON OF GAS WILL OUT PERFORM,PLUS LATELY THE FIRERS!! THAT HAVE BEEN REPORTED FR OM BATTERY POWER OVRRHEATING AND SOME SHORTING OUT .IM STILL OLD SCHOOL!👌🏻💪

Be sure to opt for the higher end options , because the less expensive 40v stuff does not have the performance.
Also, the attachments work on either the Ryobi or Stihl power heads which is a bonus!

I'm not saying that they are the best or anything like that but they get the job done. I'm talking about Ryobi. I've never used any of their bigger stuff with the 40 volt batteries but I've been using 18 volt type stuff for years and even back when they had the nickel cadmium batteries those tools still work with the lithium ion batteries also. But they keep coming up with new stuff all the time that uses 18 volt batteries and it comes in real Handy for me. I just wish the batteries weren't so darn expensive they cost more than the tools. But I don't need tools to make a living anymore I just need tools to do whatever I need to do around the house. I'm retired so I don't need the top of the line whatever anymore. But I have no complaints and also I have a 4 cycle engine weed wacker that's also made by Ryobi and it works great and I have all kinds of attachments to go with it too

Although, I don't think electric vehicles or electric construction equipment is not the been perfected as of yet. It's all perfecting the battery storage compacity. If they come up with an electric vehicle, that drive at a 1,000 miles on a single charge and can recharge wirelessly. I can charge my phone wirelessly with a pad and that's what they need with a electric vehicle. Drive over a pad and it's quick and fast.

I always say, if you don't innovate, then you will go into the dustbin of history. Like Polaroid. They created the instant picture camera in 1948,but they didn't innovate, when computers came around. Now, the same is true with Sears, Montgomery Wards, and Jc Penny. They didn't upgrade with the change in closing style and their selection of offerings were outdated. I think AT&T home internet is outdated, becausethey are still using telephone wires to deliver high speed internet. Now, satellite TV is realizing, that people don't want a stupid dish on their house and are innovating. Charter is innovating and are making the consumer buy a Xumo stream box, in which is glorified Roku box. That way, they aren't spending any money supplying customers with cable boxes on Spectrums dime.
