      @@traceysartandcraft Yes sure. Please go ahead. But, I have one request for both our peace of mind; do not use the words Neurographica(TM) or "Neurographic Art" in the title of your video/s. I do not think either of us need Dr. Piskarev threatening legal action for using those terms. And, he does not speak any English.

      @@neuroartworkshop oh thank you so much for the advice, I won't I was planning on something more like ' a way I like to relax ' then in the description leave your link for people to learn more as honestly I don't know enough about it. I tried it and it was a great way to stop trying to control my art, it kind of reset me. Xxz

    I just learned about this art method probably yesterday or so and I shared it with my activity director in my disabled living facility building so when the time is right and we come out of covered maybe we can try it as a new therapy activity I would also like to try it on my own.

    Love this ! It was amazing how beautiful yours starting becoming. I’m new to this and am so thankful to find this video before doing my first one. Drawing “random” lines would be so hard for me staying out of my head trying to control it!

      This method turns the Neuroline drawing exercise into sort of a game, especially when you are trying to push multiple coins around. But, the point in drawing Neurolines is more of a mindfulness exercise; to be aware of what you are thinking. I promise its easier than when you are trying for your first time to do any form of meditation. Just pick up a pen and let it flow. Your thought "diarrhea" becomes you journal, if you have a notebook by your side and writing it down as you go. And, when you read through what you have written after you are done with your drawing you may garner some insights.

    Different color to round with? Always go left to right? Use different thicknesses of pen to line with?

    • @neuroartworkshop
      @neuroartworkshop  2 года назад +1

      1) It is not advisable, as far as this video tutorial is concerned, to be using a different colour/s to round with. THAT, is a decision you may have to make when you become more advanced with the methodology. (Assuming you do not run out of ink halfway while doing your Neuro Artwork.)
      2) You do not always go from left to right. There is no rule in the methodology that says you have to go ONLY in a specific direction. In fact I asked that of my instructor when I was getting my certification and the answer she gave was that it depends on the client.
      3) And Yes, you can use different thickness of pen, as I have shown in this video.

    What country coins are you using

  • @kb9847
    @kb9847 2 года назад

    I've used a coin before, but I find my lines aren't squiggly enough. I never thought of using two coins like you suggested. It was much more difficult so my lines came out much better. Thanks for the idea. :) In Canada, where I am from, our coins look to be about the same size as yours. Our $2 (which we call a twonie) and $1 (which we call a Loonie because there is a bird called a loon on it) These two are pretty much the same size so I just used the $1. Then we have a 25 Cent which we call a quarter. Then a 10 Cent which we call a dime. Lastly. we have a 5 cent which we call a nickel. We no longer have 1 cent coins which we used to call a penny. :) . I'm going to look around your videos and sub and watch a few. All the people I follow with Neuroart are women so it's nice to have a different perspective. Thanks. :)

      Always happy to increase the diversity in this field. Another tip when drawing Neurolines, is just lift your hand off the page, and draw it slowly. Your muscles will do the "squiggling" on its own.

    The problem is not that there are two or three coins
    The problem or challenge is that one needs to have the larger heavier coin pushing the smaller
    Good luck
