From what I have read up on from the internet, ONLY watercolour paper has this problem; or at least due to the way watercolour works, this is a problem. But, because of the way most other mediums work on paper, it is not a problem. As far as other mediums go, expired watercolour paper still works with them with no problems (except mediums like watercolour pencils when you need to use water to dissolve the pigment). Apparently, mediums like gouache still works on expired watercolour paper. Moral of the story here is DO NOT LEAVE ANY WATERCOLOUR PAPER EXPOSED TO THE AIR FOR A LONG TIME (in my case it was out on my desk for around 5-6 months).

They do. When I use it, it feels like these super soft and easy oil pastel sticks that dry within hours. And, can be "re-wetted" to blend with water there after.

You will have to treat the art you make with the gel sticks like watercolour artworks. The other alternative is to use a water resistant spray fixative, or a spray sealant.

The cloves tip is a great tip, I will have to try that. I had not heard of using cloves for dry mouth before, so this is news to me. I had only heard of using dried ginseng slices (any grade), I had known about this when I was little. Appreciate your great tip.

Yes, agree. Chinese tradition being one of them, we follow the lunar calendar, tradition wise; but live by our normal (Gregorian) calendar like the rest of the world.

I actually did a similar lightfast test on the Mungyo Galleries chalk Pastels (not the Extra Fine version, these were the square sticks). The results came out quite similar, only slightly worse. I was using just regular 200gsm art paper. They don't seem to want to dissolve completely, they works well for blending. I have tried these on watercolour paper (pulp), but not tested them this way to see if they would dissolve completely. When I say "completely" I do mean like how the FC Albretch Durer watercolor pencils will dissolve, without being able to see any left over marks. Having said that, it could be that the pigment soaked into this paper I was using and was not able to reach those pigment with my water brush. Having said that; they do dissolve, though !!

As explained by the text in the video, this is a follow up of a previous video; and also fulfilling a promise I made in the previous video, that this was going to be more of a background music for your own Mindfulness Drawing Meditation but a longer version. I intentional left any voice audio out because I wanted this to be more of a background music for all of you to use when you find the 10mins in the previous video too short.
