When I die I hope I'm lucky enough to get to see Gavin Creel and Marin Mazzie perform in something by Jonathan Larson in Heaven. They are so missed here on Earth.
Thank you so much for paying tribute to this wonderful artist, and, clearly a wonderful person. Aside from seeing him on stage,Nyc and West End,l loved rewatching his performances, and his interviews where his passion, light, kindness, political activism came across so much. If us who just admired him from afar are heartbroken l can't imagine how his family and many friends must feel,l know some from following their careers and seeing what they said in the past or in the last days, like Andrew Rannells, Rory O'Malley,Will Swenson,Sara Bareilles,Jonathan Groff especially. OBVIOUSLY also all the others close to him. I hope that the Broadway community will find a way to pay homage to this gem of a man, celebrate his life in a truly meaningful way❤🎉💔🕊
Thank you for this beautiful compilation. Still can’t believe it. Do you know it’s even sadder? There’s just a smaller audience outside the Broadway community that knew him. I wish the world knew how talented, gracious, how kind and a what a light he was. The world needs more people like him. Just absolutely tragic. May he rest in peace singing in heaven❤
I always hoped Walk on Through might get a Broadway transfer. I saw it work-shopped at the Met and again at MCC and it's a masterpiece. He was a light of the theater and will be so very missed.
