The way Bruno can cry in his vocals is so chilling and brings tears to the brokenhearted. And while Anderson showed his vocal abilities before Bruno, imho I feel that being with this collab has intensified the talent that was always there but not tapped into until Bruno came along. I am left speechless with this song and for sure KNOW THAT I KNOW THAT I KNOW that this is Song Of The Year!!
This is my era, 70s era with a new type of singer making it a new gen of soul, Bruno is off the charts. But Anderson is like a reborn Temptation or something. smh As for the last part with Bruno's lamenting cry and high note? The boy is 35 and just getting better in his vocals. He's a freak of nature. Every drop of album he's done kept getting better. Now we ask, how is it going to get better than this? Only Bruno and Anderson know.
Answer to ur question? Run out into the rain and throw my arms around him and cry with him while the rain drenches us among our tears. At what point? No telling, depending on when it completely hit my heart. I would have had to have been there to know.
In an interview Anderson was praising Bruno as a vocal producer saying he himself didn’t know he could sing like that.

I absolutely love this song. It is so damn good. This whole album is such an awesome vibe. Takes me back to being about 8 and listening to this kind of music with my aunts. I am an ordinary 51 year old white girl that was exposed to ALL genres of music when I was young. I am thankful for cool aunts & uncles and my parents, who love music too. The drums and vocals on this joint is ridiculous!! My 10 year old grandson is a drummer. He is gonna have to learn this song for me! I love your videos, James!

Whether or not he could sing (or his physical characteristics) would (and SHOULD) be irrelevant if he did something to deserve losing his relationship. If you have a daughter (or ever will), I hope you aren't giving her the impression that the qualities we can genuinely enjoy in other people from a distance should be something we value in our own relationships in the absence of the things that really matter.
