I don’t understand why there isn’t more interest on the 2650. Seems like prochargers still get more love when both units can make a crap ton of powwwa.
There very well could be but it would be a cluster of stuff going on. With the available high side upgrades we had this recently back on the dyno and were able to max it out with full e85. Makes it nice as no aftermarket controller is needed then so less failure point and a cleaner engine bay for looks and future service work.
I'd really like to run full E85 and swap out the stock blower. It seems like the over all cost and complexity to do that is lower with a SPI system vs cam/injectors/fuel system/meth, but I might be wrong about that.
@@RStandsForRace problem is eventually you need to do a cam so springs can handle the added pressure on them and to bleed off some restriction. Yes with port you can go a little further but eventually you need to do a cam to play it smart.
Its production was not limited as in GM said they would only make xxxx amount. It will be worth less than it is today in 4 or 5 years just like all corvettes.

Pardon my ignorance ... You have meth kits added. Is that something the owner has to replenish at every gas fill-up? ... or is the meth kit just for testing, and not left in the car? I'm new to all this, so I don't know much.
It's used to spray methanol into the air track to boost the octane and aid the fuel system. Let's us get more timing into it. It only sprays when ripping on it and uses its own tank.
Please give us the full mod list for the z06 including Cam/Heads/Headers size of TB boost you were running ! Seriously not enough info to go on here. Also were you running e47 or full E85 ?
We don't give all the info away because that's a recipe for others to copy what we did. This video states cam, heads, headers, etc. We will not however give away pulley combo, cam specs, etc. It also list e50 until we put a larger hpfp on it at that point we will spin it harder. to cut the rib off the belt, get some hooked razor blades made for cutting carpet etc.

How does the Whipple 2.9 compare to the Magnuson 2.65?
2650 is way more efficient in every way.
The 2650 has more positive air displacement with less horsepower to drive the supercharger with less heat transfer.
The white Z06 is going to be nasty once it hooks up

@@jeffufcfanaticrosenberg made same power in full e85. With meth it was already at the timing limit on e50. 16 psi zero pressure drop
