Hey Folks - just had my first colonoscopy today, everything went very well during the procedure. The most challenging part - the prep work. Yet is was worth the screening!
1:29 _”A colonoscopy greatly reduces your chances of developing colon cancer …”_ Yeah. But having a polyp removed greatly increases your chance of suffering a perforation and developing death much sooner. Please book your appointment today.
😂👍💀 Exactly why I’m looking for reasons not to get this done. I’m 65 and so far never done it and have no reason for it other than they advise you to “in case” 🙄
@@angelwings7930My mom had her first one in her 60s. Got two polyps removed. And now in her 80s, she never had one since. My four grandparents never had one and they lived to their late 80s and 90s.
I had my colonoscopy last week under light anaesthetic it was a little uncomfortable the first few seconds for me the worst part is the prep I had to take moviprep it is disgusting. I got two polyps to be taken out on 23rd July. well worth it go for it.
This has been recommended on three occasions and on three occasions despite there being a polyp (and diverticular problems) and bowel screening advising it too. But no can't get it seen or tested. I'm terribly worried. Where & how do I deal with this??😢😢
I'm not getting one. Old photo. I need to die from something. I know/ believe in God and want to be with my eternal family. The medical field has turned into a money making industry. It sucks! I've gone decades w/out a pap smear and they are always fine, when I finally get one. I'm so sick of doctors, I'm walking away ( again ) from the medical crap hopefully for another decade

I don’t know what you’re drinking but the nasty bottle I just had to down a few minutes ago tasted like a salty swamp
@@Rebwell They Ade me take PEG the first time and it was awful. However, I took orange Pico-Salax the second time and the taste was way better.

So is it save only for checking up
i had one had a perforated bowel and had to have emergency surgery

I want to get it but they said i am 38 so I will have to pay $2,500 out of pocket. (insurance only covers for over 45 years)
Saving your life is worth the financial investment
Fly to some cheaper country and get it done
I get my procedure done today, I’m really nervous but I know I’ll be okay..
Did you felt anything did it hurt?
@@allwaysyt1714 no, I didn’t feel anything I was sleeping it took 40 minutes.
@@princessroxy9542 Im nervous to get mine. Ive had surgury 2 times before, so this should be a piece of cake.
Did they give you anesthesia before the procedure?@princessroxy9542
Do they flush the colon during a colonoscopy?
Its cheaper to go eat at taco bell.

If they go looking for something they will surely find it!!!….smh 💰💵
I’m not a proponent of colonoscopies, but why would you care what the cost is? If you have insurance, it’s covered 100%.
Deluluuuu
I'm not scared of dying, although not in a hurry to leave... But I'm scared of excruciating physical pain and of causing my Son's sorrow.
hello there people
Video is nothing but fear doesn’t provide no insight
It's not just 12 minutes, it also costs money. I'd do it instantly if it's free though.
Eat spicy food
You will go poop clean
Colonoscopy isn't free.
I POOP BETWEEN 3 TO 4 TIMES A DAY,
I
DON'T
NEED
ONE!!!!
Sorry, but I'm not making doctors any more rich than they are now. I'm good.
😄
I poop like 4 times a day as well. Did the procedure and had 2 polyps removed. Who knows though. Gotta trust your instincts
