    we had a different brand that didn't have a fan however we had the same problem with our wood furnace of it boiling over but it was getting old.

    Set it to 165°F low & 175°F high.
    After water pours out the top when filling, let the water trickle in to fill the rest of the way. It needs to be filled slowly.

    The thermocouple “temp probe” is definitely bad. It looks like the wires broke

      The sensor itself is broken

    If you had it set at 220 that's set to high.Boiling temp is only 212
