Saiki goes *hard* in this performance. You can really see it on her face, and hear it in every note. She's _The Queen_ for a reason. 👑

I think all five of them have different backgrounds and musical preferences, but they all respect each other and no one dominates the group decisions. Their performances reflect that. Some old school rock and roll, some punk, some nu-metal, some jazzy or poppy sounds, some just weirdness. But they make it all work and present such unified pieces of music.
Even a Black Hole can't escape the magnetic pull of BAND-MAID :)

The Ladies have just released a new song, "Shambles", which is the outro for a Netflix Anime, "Kengan Ashura" Season 2 Part 1. Trust me you WILL enjoy it.
And Akane is the "Happiest Drummer Ever" according to Julia Nilon.
When Jack at JBF was told about Black Hole he was told "it was slightly "Thrash Metal" and he was like "Yeah, Right" until 5 seconds into the song, when he paused it, looked at the camera and was looking very harassed. His exact words were that he "Didn't know she could play like that", when referring to Miku.
The Ladies will subvert all of your expectations other than they are good, and one of the best currently touring.
My favorite thing about BAND-MAID is the variety of music they put out. Hard rock, pop-punk, rock ballads, acoustic songs, instrumentals, etc. They even have an alter ego called BAND-MAIKO that puts a different twist on their music.
Band-Maid's rhythm section is good 🐱
It really is. They have a consistent groove throughout the songs I've heard and it's always bouncy. I love it.

I found these past couple of songs to be interesting and refreshing musically. This band called Band- Maid to Me seems very talented and sexy when I watched their video. The bass and drummer complement each other very well in these tunes, and surprisingly to find out they are Japanese women is wild in my mind. They are good artists in their own way. Enjoyed every minute of their songs. Being a Prog head since the early 70s I just want to thank you for opening my ears up to all this new music. I have to listen to these songs a little more to really react to this band but for now, I can only say WOW !! Very refreshing. Keep the music coming 👏👏🤘✌

Akane on Blackhole is just nuts! but I have to mention that Misa's bass line is adding some frantic feeling to it, which is awesome.

In 2017 I was online shopping for a new kayak while listening to music on youtube . Out of nowhere came this wonderful voice and the sang Freezer . Have been hooked ver since . Saw them in Dallas 2022 . Missed chance to go see them this year . Seeing them live is an insanely fun experience .

@@L33Reacts They are finishing a US tour. You should see if they are going to play in your area. I just saw them in Minneapolis (my second time seeing them) and they are so amazing live. Well worth getting to a show.

Not sure if you have seen it but Rinne is their most metal song. If you like metal you need to check out Nemophila-Oiran live new one, Hanabie-Pardon Me I Have to Go Now mv and Lovebites-Hammer of Wrath live. All the bands are different, all women and all kick ass.
Miku does Akane's job a lot in Black Hole leaving her to run off into the rough. Not easy because she's totally in the pocket at 220bpm.
Great reaction. If you like their fast, almost thrash songs, you would like 'Different' and 'Screaming'. Although Screaming does not have an official video.

If you like Black Hole watch NO GOD from this show. The bass solo by Misa will blow your socks off.
There's much more madness for you to discover. Try "Rinne" if you want a dark, agressive song from them ;of course you're the master here, some recent songs might puzzle you as well...
