      I would too.
      Let the Jets pay him to play someplace else, just like the Broncos are doing for Wilson and the Steelers.
      These same media morons were saying the same things about Wilson that they are about Rogers now.
      I prefer to ignore the fools who are repeatedly wrong.
      Past performance is a perfect indicator of future outcomes.
      I really hope that the Jets sit, or cut Rogers.
      Yet, when the Jets still suck, Florio and fools will still find some way to blame Aaron Rogers.

      @@kellykloss4653all true, except Wilson is playing good (not great, but good) on a team that’s perfect for him with their no-nonsense coach.
      I can’t possibly think of a team where Rodgers would thrive at all at this point. It would be a team that doesn’t need a QB, like the Rams, or Ravens.

    Lifetime Packers fan, Rodgers was one of the best at one time, but, something happened. I believe it was 3 years before the Jets trade, I remember Rodgers saying his goal was to win another MVP, not a Superbowl, not even a championship game, which his record sucks, but another MVP? He's gone downhill ever since, and the Packers new it. His attitude has sucked ever since!

    The consensus by fans is, "you're too old Rodgers." It is the ownership fault they shouldn't have gave up everything to go with you. As a lifelong Cardinals fan I've suffered at the horrors of Hail Marys for years and this last weekend I saw a lot of plays that old Rogers would have made but new old Rogers was simply to slow. The last game against Rogers was a crushing victory, I guess I'll take that over a smug look towards the sideline.

      That is the problem, Woody isn't in the background, he interferes. If Woody Johnson tried to hire a Mike Tomlin or a harbaugh they would tell him to get lost, woody is Jerry Jones but even dumber but even more egotistical ( never saw Jerry wearing an OG necklace that says 'Jerry').

    • @steves9964
      @steves9964 6 дней назад

      @@njlauren Yeah that necklace is cringeworthy.
      Because we're talking about Rodgers what's lost in all of this is how bad Johnson is. They're never going to get anyone whose stock is on the rise and is highly sought after based on what you've said above. And that's always been the case before Rodgers was even in the league. Four coaches in a row quit on the Jets to go elsewhere, and that's when they were actually good! Parcells "retired" only to come back after a few years and coach for longer in Dallas. Belicheat and the napkin. Al Groh left the Jets to coach college ball at UVA. Yes, he left a pro job in New York City to coach in Charlottesville, Virginia. And then Herm Edwards essentially quit and was traded to Kansas City for I think a fourth rounder. Rodgers had nothing to do with any of that...at least I think he didn't. They talk about how Detroit coaches never coach somewhere else after they're axed in Detroit, but I can't recall anything like this happening anywhere ever.
      That has to reflect on ownership, and I haven't even gotten into Tebow or the constant shuffle of GMs and coaches. Tannenbaum and Mangini were hired. Mangini was fired and Tannenbaum was retained. Rex comes in. Rex survived when Tannenbaum was fired. Idzik comes in. Both he and Rex are canned. Then they hire Maccagnan and Bowles, but Maccagnan didn't hire Bowles. Then he fires Bowles and retains Maccagnan, only to let the latter run the draft before firing him too. Then it's Douglas and Gase, Douglas survives Gase's firing, as well as Saleh's hiring and firing. Everyone will be gone again after this year and they'll bring in another defensive regime and have it preside over another highly drafted, unproven quarterback or they'll trade for Don Majkowski.
