Well disguised, but you can still pick up the jazz influence in this brilliant approach to thrash. I said it before, this is how bright careers are forged.
This 'young' drummer learned to drum at age 4, has photographic memory and is reknowned for his jazz skills, being at one time named one of the "top-performing high school jazz musicians" by the National Association for Music Education.
I was younger than you when listening to ST in the 80's, but way far from being smart and dedicated like you. El Lobo Estepario brought me here somehow, I wasn't expecting this at all. I'm thrilled. Metal and Jazz, the musical passion spectrum is wide. I wish you all the best and a good life !!
Greyson has entered his arena drummer arch of the story. But are you for real dude? You're insanely talented and you're keeping it punchy on the beat. If you got a couple tattoos I would assume you've been playing metal your whole life.
Ha! Awesome! Love the swirling mosh pit with the big dude in the fluorescent shirt. Great footage! I feel like I'm on tour with you, Greyson. Thanks man, played a show this weekend but teaching drums all week. This vid has put a huge smile on my face. Cheers.
Reminds me a lot of other great drummers like Gojira's or Tool's. That punchy sound with jazz undertones is a delight to listen to. You're a prodigy and thank you for your work!
So been following this dude for a while now, one of the best (if not the best) young Jazz drummers out there. Being a rock drummer I thought, but him in a rock / metal band and the guys just gonna fall apart. My dad use to say, "you know what thought did?" He thought fucking wrong!
Dunno what it is that made you go from me watching you do “whiplash” covers on drumeo to playing for suicidal, but sure as hell happy you’re doing this regardless. One thing though, still be the guy you were before tendencies. Be humble, and most importantly be yourself. You’ve already done the hard work. Now, enjoy the experience of that hard work. God bless ya son. 🤙
Dude is honing his skills even further beyond. That's what it means to be next level. Soak it all in man. Can't wait to see what you become with even more experience. No pressure. 😅😅
Последние видео смотрю человек свой талант решил зарыть в деньги и металл. А ведь до этого классно выдавал многие джазовые в том числе хиты и много всего разного.

and wearing a Machine Shop, Flint Mi shirt. Legit
I’m seeing them this Friday in Berkeley.🙌🙌
This looks so fun for everyone involved.
I would use the “he’s not human” cliché, except there’s so much feeling. So much taste. So much nuance. Mindblowing.
Every show in Michigan has someone wearing a The Machine Shop (Flint, MI) shirt. Good to see there is no exception here.
so happy for you bro!!!!

The bassist is a statue
He's a monster though. And part of a bass playing dynasty
Calm in a storm. Nothing better.
Sounds great. I do hope you have something to protect your ears young man.
Fkn oath!
Ruling
ademas de jazz metal, si fuera mujer quisiera ser tu novia
Kinda obliterates the theory that big kits are better.
uhhh.... sorry.... no. will not be attending. I needed earplugs just to watch it on RUclips. LOL 😆
