Your voice is soothing considering the topics. You show respect for the victims and their lives.... No loud suspense music or drama .... so thank you and congrats!!!!
I can't help but imagine all those people who've committed horrifying crimes back before DNA was so advanced, out there living their lives, and hopefully sleeping a bit more uncomfortably wondering when their time will come....
Also like,,,, what did detectives do when they saw a crime scene? I imagine someone walking up to a gruesome sight and j being like “hmmm blood... gross clean it up”
Yes! It creepy thinking how easy it was to go under the radar in years gone by after a murder. Hopefully it's not so easy in more advanced forensic tech times like today.
I was watching this one show where this guy went on a killing spree basically.. said it was like a trip to the grocery store forgotten about the next day after every killing
If I'm not mistaken, her sister also has a channel, Kirsty Skye, that covers similar topics and they have similar voices (I hope I didn't get one or both of them mixed up).
I really can't see the wisdom in letting the triple murder suspect out on bail. He did have their motor cycle and the same kind of vehicle they were seen leaving in. Seems to me this would be enough to hold him on until trial. I got a feeling this isn't going to end well. He already threatened to kill himself and he can easily go on the run and very possibly hurt or kill someone else.
I don’t think having a similar vehicle to one they were seen in is enough evidence. If they find dna evidence that ties this man to the scene, then let him rot. But if they don’t, I’d rather not see an (potentially) innocent man put in prison for a crime somebody else commited. It happens more than you would guess.
I knew a woman while I was in Brisbane that thought the same about the "American accent." She couldn't get enough of hearing me talk and I couldn't get enough of her talking. It was all pretty surreal. 😂
Stories like these are why I refuse to go camping, there are way too many people getting offed while sleeping in the great outdoors. RIP to the three people who were senselessly murdered, hope their families get justice (even if it's insultingly late).
Live your life in fear and then what's the point? 99.9% of people go camping just fine. Why not look up the statistics of how many millions upon millions of people who go camping verses who gets killed while camping?
You just have to be smart about it. Camp at places that have other people around, don't camp or hike alone, and don't go anywhere with strangers. And make sure a family member or close friend knows where you're going, who you're with, and when you'll be back.
You have to be wary of lone loonies. If the guy had been a motorcyclist , different story, but driving a car would ring alarm bells with me and my friends.

It is entirely possible that the (only) suspect did indeed receive stolen goods (the motorcycle), unaware of the horrific crime that allowed him to get the bike. It's also possible he lured away and murdered the group in order to get the things they had. My heart goes out to the families and friends of the victims. BTW, ms. Dark curiosities, you are the only person I will listen to ads on their podcast all the way through. Just because it's you. Your work is exceptional.

Sounds like the police didnt do their jobs right which allowed him to get out on bail, how annoying
Yeap former prison guard finds motorcycle and does not report it. Has similar colour car reported and in the area at the time of the murders. Gun????
