I'm still stuck on the fact he's riding with a gun and smoking weed so he's " riding dirty". All he had to do to NOT get pulled over was wear a seatbelt!? C'MON!!! That's day 1 stuff man! Lol
If you're going to commit a specific crime, make sure everything else you do is squeaky clean. Smoke weed? Don't be going out in public. Carrying a stolen gun? Wear your damn seatbelt! Hell, the only reason they caught Ted Bundy was because he didn't check his lights to make sure they were working.
Like Chris Rock said, "If you just jump a turnstile, you might get let off with a warning. If you jump a turnstile while smoking a joint with an illegal gun in your waist, then you deserve to get your ass kicked."
Shit happens all the time, every day. I do what it takes to AVOID getting pulled over even though I'm usually completely legal. Read the crime section of your local newspaper if you want some entertainment. People will have a suspended license and be DUI and they'll get pulled over for a seat belt, tag light, taillight, failure to maintain lane; it's ridiculous how careless people breaking the law can be. If a light on my vehicle goes out I take 10 minutes out of my day, go to Autozone, buy a $6 light bulb, and fix it in the parking lot. Lol people are dumb!!!!!

I've seen a lot of videos on this channel like this, the suspect acts all friendly, calls the cop, "sir" and pretty respectful. Once the cop tells them they are detained, arrested or "walkto my vehicle", then they act. This is why you gotta understand when cops seem to be strict or tell you to put your hands where they can see them. Because no cop want to be in the situation where they get shot or where they have to shoot you
Common sense would’ve said 1. Don’t drive without seatbelt smoking weed. 2. Don’t drive with a illegal concealed weapon. 3. If you want to live comply by simply walking to the police car.
@Doug T to an extent, I agree with you. There should have been no reason to stop him in the first place. I disagree with the seatbelt law, the drug law, and the gun law. But, unfortunately, this guy decided not to have a trial by jury. While civil disobedience is appropriate here, it must be civil. If the cop killed this man while he peacefully and passively sat down in defiance of unjust laws, then I think many more people would view him as a martyr.
@Doug T Clearly it wasn't the weapon, in and of itself, the young man was worried about, considering he told the officer about it. It was the 1/2 lb of weed and the scale (felony possession with intent) he had in the vehicle. Sorry, but I'm pretty sure the Constitution does not protect your right to bear arms while engaged in illegal activity. In fact, it is a felony in most states to be in possession of a firearm (even if it's legal) while also in possession of an illegal substance.
Yeah if i was a cop, that would piss me off alone, especially with his suspicious movements. Officer completely justified but its still something that was so easily avoidable... now this cop gotta get over that trauma, for what?
