- The Lemon Bucket Orkestra is a self-described Balkan-klezmer-gypsy-party-punk band that plays folk music across Toronto. Formed in 2010, the group grew out of a conversation between a Breton accordionist and Ukrainian fiddler. Today, the Orkestra continues to play anywhere and everywhere, busking by day and crashing parties by night.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

Caught them during Stampede Week in Calgary. Fantastic!!!
Probably Canada's best party-band at the moment :)
I Saw them during the Savour Stratford festival. The music was so lively and captivating, I cant wait to see them perform again in Toronto.
Nothing like seeing them live. They rocked the hell out of Buskerfest in Toronto.

Benny Goodman, Guy Lombardo and Lawrence Welk are smiling.
There was (is?) a folk group called the Romainiacs similar to the LBO. I think Lemon is better, the energy is incredible. I would love to see them live. Cheers from Calgary.
