Thank you for the coloring booklet and printables! I love changing up my art sessions with trying new mediums. For example: I'm now combining paint with collage. A good way to practice composition.

Hey Thaneeya! I have loved your art for many years! When I was a Psych Nurse for Adolescent kids in a long-term unit, I took it upon myself to create and set up the weekend creative projects there and matched them with the skills they were learning each week! ( Flexes my artsy muscle). I wanted you to know that I purchased your Sugar Skull Coloring Pages, and Printed them along with other coloring/art activities. Hands down, these troubled sometimes psychotic, violent, often abused, and neglected kids-LOVED YOUR SUGAR SKULLS THE BEST!
Just thought you'd love to know!

I'm truly honored to have been part of it. Thank you for letting me know, and for being such a positive force for those kids!! 🎨🌟

Wow!! Loved this video, Thaneeya. I learn’t so much about why you are such an amazing artist, but not only that, but how I can improve my own brain health & creativity too. Well done again on this top notch video. It was full of wonderful information. Xx🙂👍👋👋👋👋👋

What a wonderful exploration of our unique brains! I have been driven to pursue creative activities since I was a young child as well. If I don't have something to be creative with to occupy myself with, I start to feel extremely squirrelly! For the last several years I have focused my creative energy on knitting and crochet but I find myself wanting to get back into coloring pictures which I'm hoping will reignite my desire to want to sketch and color pictures again. Thank you so much for sharing your enthusiasm!

Thanks so much for your lovely comment! 💖 I'm glad you enjoyed this video. I can definitely relate to feeling squirrelly if I haven't done something creative in awhile! Reading comments like yours inspires me to pick up a new hobby like knitting or crocheting, because sometimes I want to do something creative with my hands that doesn't involve drawing or painting. One of these days I'll learn how to do it!! 😃🧶✨

This was very interesting. I don’t feel like I am a natural artist like yourself but I have always felt like the artistic desire and ability was in me somewhere. I just needed a little spark of inspiration to get my brain going in that direction. Since I’ve been following you and learning new tools and techniques, my natural creativity, skills, and desire to leave my comfort zone has greatly improved. I really crave that regular art time for my self care. I want to make time to check out some of your research links, so thanks for sharing. Also, I love how even your business attire is so charming and true to your personality. Cute glasses ❤🤓

Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts, Christina! 😃 It's wonderful that you've been exploring your artistic side, learning so much and devoting time to making art. I always enjoy seeing your beautiful posts in my coloring group, which demonstrate that you have a real talent for art! You pick up new techniques extremely well and you have a fabulous sense of color! 😍🎨 I'm truly honored that I've been part of your creative journey. Thank you also for your comments on my business attire! 🥰 I was pleased I was able to cobble together an outfit that worked for those scenes, and delighted that I found an excuse to wear those glasses! 😁

Fascinating video, thanks for making! I bounce around between drawing, knitting, crochet, and weaving. I love your use of color and am very inspired by it to use some of those markers that I've never even uncapped before... and maybe some of those bright yarns I turned away from before. Thank you for sharing your creativity with the world, it is deeply appreciated.

Thanks so much for such a lovely comment! 🥰 I'm honored to hear that you love my use of color and that it's inspired you creatively! I have a thing for brightly colored yarn. I bought a bunch of different vibrant colors for needle-punching a few years ago. Even though I haven't had time to use them lately, just seeing the beautiful skeins of yarn on my shelf inspires me every day! Happy Art-Making to you! 🎨🧶🌟

Thank you for making this video in simple layman talk so that it was understandable and also for the extra reading list. I went on to read the articles and I am interested in getting a few of the books to read, especially Get the Picture by Bianca Bosker. I love your newsletters and the colourfulness you bring into my life.

Thanks for your comment ~ it really means a lot to me! 💖 I'm so happy that you enjoy my newsletters. 🥰 I'm glad you found this video interesting! The book you mentioned does sound like a compelling read. Another brain/art book I read recently is "Your Brain on Art: How the Arts Transform Us" by Susan Magsamen and Ivy Ross which is an excellent dive into the concept of neuroaesthetics. I read it on my Kindle and highlighted so much. 😊🎨
