I'd go for a Pagani, because of the screw down crown alone, you just feel safer with it. But the proportions on Pagani are off, and the Pagani clasp just feels weird, I do have am PD-1664, and it's not getting any wrist time beacuse of that clasp alone, I'm going to order an strap and give a try. Butterfly clasp on a Cadisen looks interesting, I do like that clean look, I think I'm going to give it a chance
I owned a PD as you have here and the jubilee bracelet was extremely comfortable and the movement was very accurate. Overall it was one of the best pieces in my collection, right up until I broke it doing something stupid... Rather than simply replace it with another PD I'm going to upgrade to the San Martin version to see if the difference is worth the money.
Cadisen has addressed the typo error and I received my watch today which mentions 5ATM on the dial. Kudos to reviewers who informed this to Cadisen. Good review bro.
I’m tempted by the Cadisen because if it’s smaller size, design and especially like the blue sunburst version. PD seem to make excellent bang for buck watches but they are always very big.
Great video mate, it's nice to see these two side by side. The Pagani certainly has the better movement, but I like the design of the Cadisen better. If they only fix the issues with the watch and upgrade the movement it could be a perfect watch.
Great video! Feel like the Pagani dial is more well done than the Cadisen. I always seem to find myself swaying towards Pagani Design and i'm not sure why!
Great comparison mate, for me the Pagani wins it, just looks much better value overall. Looks better built, more reliable movement and a nicer looking dial. Honestly, the only thing going for the cadisen is the smaller diameter.
Any watch the size of the Cadisen would just plain look stupid and awkward on the wrist of a grown man. On the size front, amidst many other considerations, the Pagani is the winner, hands down!
Probably the Pagani, despite the fact I have too many already. And I prefer a bigger watch, so the PD Sub homage at 42mm suits me better than the 40mm alternative. After wearing 50mm+ GShocks for years... Enjoyed the review, and loved the desk and audio balance
@@HonestWatchReviewsHWR Have to say the quality of your content, the production values, is punching way above your subscriber level - very very well done. You may have found a niche here :-)
I ordered the Cadisen....I have a 6 3/4” wrist, and the Pagani is just way too big for smaller wrists. Plus, the fluted bezel is way too fat on the Pagani. It doesn’t suit the watch in my opinion, at all. The Cadisen is more true to the original watch. The Pagani is nice, but isn’t suited for everyone....the Cadisen is much nicer than you portrayed it to be on this review. Great review of the Pagani though. I own three Pagani watches already and absolutely love them, but with the datejust homage, for me, they were a bust! They made it well, but they made it too big and too fat. My pick would be the Cadisen in this case. It’s much prettier, and much more understated....but nice video and very informative too ...thanks again for another great review!
I agree with you about the dimensions on the Cadisen. Now that they've fixed the typo issue with the water resistance on the newer ones it's a great watch. I'm glad you're happy with yours.
Never heard about the links that you have to take out the fit your wrist in the pagani design 1645. Sadly, with my 6.2 inch (yes, small wrist club), I think i will not be able to wear it well!
do they both have the end link flash with the case , i think cadisen does but i thin with the pagani desing the end link is sticking out , can you confirm and do u think it is annoying
I like both. The PD has 100m WR but the Cadisen is smaller. The PD has Seiko movement but Cadisen is a little bit cheaper. Personally I prefer the updated Cadisen version with Myiota. I hope one day I will come around to buy it
Am i the only one here that likes the Cadisen more? Pagani's dial and the bigger bezel are just awful. The cadisen is better proportioned and looks classier
I haven't tried that one out. But given the quality of other San Martin watches I do have I'd say it's probably going to be very good. Although not cheap.
Great comparison video, and great review, have always quietly appreciated the Datejust but never pulled the trigger on one! Will definitely be going for the Pagani if I ever do! If you have the cash I've also heard the San Martin homage is pretty good quality although I don't really any experience obviously 🤣
Cheers mate. Well if you do please consider using my affiliate link. Yeah I've looked at the San Martin before. It does look really good. But it's not cheap.
@@HonestWatchReviewsHWRyeah that is the issue with San Martin, probably would end up going for the Pagani, but will use the affiliate link when the time comes🤙🏻
@@IBoughtAWatch Cheers mate. I think with their drivers though it's more justified... But then I can't judge their Datejust, as I haven't seen it. Perhaps is does justify the price difference.
Thanks for the video, i also have de pagani. Its a fantastic watch for the money. Also below 7 inch wrists its a Nice watch because in the clasp you have the micro adjustments✌️👍 If you like homage this watch is a must have
@@HonestWatchReviewsHWR the Pagani is such the better watch in all other aspects but that Cadisen bezel reminds me of the older Tudors and Rolexes which I like.

How did you manage to break it, if you don't mind me asking?
I bought the Cadisen recently and haven't found the issues that you had, 5atm on the dial, indices line up nicely, and gains 1sec per day so far!
That's good to hear. Yeah I made them aware of the misprint when I got mine, so then they fixed it.
That's legitimately the only thing keeping me from buying it! Awesome!

I need this comparison. Very well done! Thanks!
Thanks. I'm glad it was helpful.
Great video matey! I’d take the Cadisen! Better size and bracelet for my little wrist!!!!!!
They've fixed the misprint on the dial now, so perhaps give it a try.
from all the watch review i watch, this has the best background
Thanks very much. You can get the wood effect mat yourself. Link in the description 😉

Thanks mate. I just think it's too much of a gamble with the Cadisen. Along with the movement different.
Great video! Feel like the Pagani dial is more well done than the Cadisen. I always seem to find myself swaying towards Pagani Design and i'm not sure why!
Definitely. My particular Cadisen is pretty bad.
How do these stack up against the Parnis versions, although they seem to do both 36mm & 39.5mm. Just started looking into these!
Great comparison mate, for me the Pagani wins it, just looks much better value overall. Looks better built, more reliable movement and a nicer looking dial. Honestly, the only thing going for the cadisen is the smaller diameter.

Whats the best dayjust homage watch for 6 inch wrist? Iwas thinking cadisen
Yeah the Cadisen would fit better I think.
Went with the Pagani. Worthwhile mentioning the Micro Adjust on the PD
Pretty sure I prefer the pagani, it just looks generally better, good to see them side by side. 👍
I agree with you. Glad you found the video useful.

I like the Pagani looks great waiting for it to arrive now as usual great review
Good choice. Thanks.
Hi.. can u share ur experience with the watch ?
Which one?
Excellent comparison! subscribed from Mexico!
Thank you and thanks for subscribing too.
Someobody has the Burei? Would really like to know if the Burei which is much pricier is better?
the Pagani Design looks like a really nice watch. Thank you for another excellent review 😊👍
Thank you for watching 👍
Great comparison video man! My $ goes to the Pagani!
Thanks mate. That seems to be the popular opinion in the comments.
Will it fit 6.75 wrist or no?
Nice review. What are your thoughts on the Cissden?
Thanks. I haven't actually tried out any of their watches, so can't really comment.
Cool video! The Carissa does have the better size, but the Pagani wins this hands down😁
I completely agree with you there.

Very interesting Video! Could you maybe compare those watches to a datejust hommage from Burei? I own one and I am very happy with it.
The pagani has the better specs but I actually prefer the look for the Cadisen
That was pretty much the way I felt too.
How much better would the Pagani look with the logo and just "Pagani" in fact for all their watches
Yeah I agree with you.
If it just had the logo and no pagani it would be better.
For sure
I’ve got an average wrist and 38 is great

The Cadison looks more like a Datejust from the 80-90's
Yeah it does actually.
Are you getting Parnis 39.5 mm?
I'm not planning to at the moment, no. But never say never.
Pagani blue ❤ or white 👍 ?
Could you share the bracelet length of your watch? Since you have taken out every removable link
The bracelet length is about 135mm, not including the watch obviously.
Does someone know if Seikos or 3rd-party 28.5mm dial fits the PD1645?
Am i the only one here that likes the Cadisen more? Pagani's dial and the bigger bezel are just awful. The cadisen is better proportioned and looks classier
You do seem to be in the minority.
Tottaly agree, cadisen bezel more classier
💯! The oversized bezel is a borderline gaudy on the PD. Cadisen looks better.
I personally don’t agree but I’ll respect your opinion

What size wrist?
Would it fit a 6.5 inch wrist
The Cadisen would probably be the best fit for you out of the two.
The seconds hand is too short in the Pagani.
Does it have screw down crown?
Yes it does, I show it in the video.
nice watch but have no lume on the hands, that makes no sense, then better than no lume at all !!!
I completely agree.
Get the Pagani.
I wish this was the new parnis 39.5mm datejust hommage, looks better than Pagani
Cadisen looks more classic, Paganism is more classy but only for bigger wrist.
Yeah pretty much.
I appreciate the video but I think the datejust design is just a bit boring
That's fair enough. Everyone has their own tastes.
pagani price
