I will say this about my MinnKota...my last two Ranger boats... I ran my 522VX from 2003 - 2014 with a Fortrex, my Z521C 2014 - present with a Fortrex with no failures. Very very dependable. Thanks MinnKota.
90 years of what? You won’t make a 60” Ultrex and you won’t allow mega live and 360, with a Ulterra (electric deploy) SSI that your disable customers can have a “one network” system.
In order to get the masses to spend another 2,500-3,500 on another trolling motor, you’ll need to implement mega 360 on the shaft somehow and have a forward facing sonar built into the head of the trolling motor. You want the masses… You’ll get the masses by appealing to our bank accounts.
Still innovating ? That's more like what the competitors are doing. And also, I wish they would stop saying " Real Anglers Trust Ultrex " in their adds. Is that their only point of sale ? How about being brushless ?? ( oh no, it's true, it's only the competitors ). How about having a wireless pedal in stead of that big anoying cable ? ( oh no, it's true, it's only the competitors ). How about having the option of using 24v or 36v on the same motor ? ( oh no, it's true, it's only the competitors ). Come on guys, you've been in the game alot longer than the others and yet it seems they've taken the lead

Don't forget the most important part of brushes. They are cheap and easy to replace. A brushless motor... forget it it's going to a service shop
