Thank you for doing this Susan! I'm rewatching these scenes now and you have made it so much easier on me! I always felt like things were kind of tense between them. Some of that makes sense now, as Nathan was feeling guilty that Jack took his place. I am honestly glad that they gave his character some room to breathe and we have been able to see the fun, funny side of Nathan. Their friendship has been able to grow without the negative tension. It still feels like the bait and switch was a bit of a mess, (2 whole seasons with Elizabeth and Lucas) but it's fun to easily rewatch these scenes now and start to understand where the show is going and what all of their deeper feelings are.
