Singapore and US sign landmark nuclear cooperation agreement

On 31 July, Singapore and the United States signed the "123 Agreement" to explore nuclear technology for climate and energy needs. The agreement, set to last 30 years, will enable collaboration on nuclear energy technologies while focusing on non-proliferation.
Singapore remains undecided on deploying nuclear energy but aims to develop expertise and explore advanced reactor designs.
