This is one of the 2 "VIP" configuration 747s that Atlas Air operates. It has only 189 seats: 10F, 143B, and 36 economy class. And yes, this plane is used to fly professional sports teams and whoever else wants to rent a mostly business class 747! It's always a treat to fly on this plane. I always compare the 747 to a flying office complex! It's so enormous! Atlas does have other high and medium density 747s as well as 767s for passenger flights. This configuration, however, has the least amount of seats out of all of their passenger planes.
Pilot bunk on the PAX version of the 747 is forward of the cockpit door on the left (When entering). Right side usually is a lavatory. Bunks on a dedicated freighter are in the rear of the upper deck area.
@@brenthendricks8182 Correct hence the timestamp when he was facing aft it was on his right. I always preferred the galley lay out on some the the BCFs and 4Fs compared to the 8F though. Layout behind the door varies with who owns it though.
The military also charters planes like this to move large amounts of troops. (No, they don’t use C-5/17 for this) A diff video shows the Miami Dolphins chartering this specific Atlas Air 747 in 2019.
I fly the 747 for Atlas and still to this day I marvel at how big it is when I walk out to it. It is a dream to fly.

Beautiful video, thanks so much
Wow!!! What I would give to fly on that bird! Gorgeous!
The rear rest area is for the FAs. The door on your right @2:56 is the pilots bunks.
