I don't think it was mic issues. If they had made his mic high, his notes would have been too loud and besides he was singing in the low range that's why it sounds as though it's mic issues but it's not

Miley has some pipes ! , Joan Jett and Billy Idol were touring in the 80's when i was into rock concerts and it is amazing that this skinny little girl 's awesome voice is hitting some notes that these veteran rockers can't even hit . Miley's new record is a true rock album and worth much more that it seems to be getting . I would like to see Miley singing live . We have some awesome musical talent and she is very close to the top of the list .

The thing I love most about Billy is that he is always seemed really respectful of women. And you can tell by the way he works with Miley that that is still well and truly the case. Other older male rockers might be flattered to have a young woman rubbing up on them/flirting with them, or they might shy away from it as inappropriate or something. But he knows as much as her that they’re there to entertain the crowd and have a fun time doing it and that’s all it is. You can tell they’re friends and colleagues and that they can be performatively sexy with each other without making it weird or perverted. The mutual respect is just very evident. Let me put it another way - Billy Idol isn’t gay, but he gives her as much respect as a gay performer would up there with her. That’s how it should be.
