I bet $200 on a Pittsburg Steelers Monday night football game in the 90s.
There was 30 seconds left. Instead of running the ball out or taking a knee. They had the quarterback run back 10 yards to their own end zone take a knee and get a safety. Ruining the spread.
Literally no need to do that except for betting lines and not covering the spread. Steelers still won but didn’t cover the spread

Not just decisions either. I mean How did Tyron Woodley lose to jake Paul? Not once but twice.
After the first 1, I decided that I'd never bet on another 1 of these celebrity matches ever again.
I mean when you look at the credentials of the 2 fighters side by side. All day,
you would think that Tyron Woodley can't lose but yea.................. I don't know because he did, TWICE.

This is exactly what you need to be doing Paulie. Your strength is as a boxing analyst. Right now you're doing two jobs playing host and expert and the formula isn't quite working because you're awkward as the host, but if you had a setup man that laid up all these topics for you in an ABCD sequence, you could go off. You need a knowledgeable co-host that knows all the fights the fans wanna hear ur opinion about and set u up. You're welcome.

What Paulie says about Max Kellerman at 27:11 is one big reason I can't stand the guy; instead of trying to argue for what is RIGHT regardless of the circumstances or cost, Max always--and only--wants to be on the side that's winning (at that moment), regardless of whether or not it's right, or true.

Pauline, Your right on the money, It sucks training so hard to have the rugged pulled out from ya, Remember the judges are most of the time lit up and do you think their influenced or ever possibly strong armed by some promoters or networks ? You know what promoters I mean, my dad fought in his younger days golden gloves and was successful and taught us and it was a blast having our private bouts ha ha, I was faster than anyone we knew and loved watching you and watching your bio I learned much I wasn’t aware of, That Cotto fight getting that head butt and you hadn’t really had got into your rhythm yet messed up your concentration and focus big time and also boxing should have weigh ins that same day to assure there’s no weight bullying , man look at Wilder fighting Fury , Every other weight it matters tremendously and no one even I ever heard thinks that and I soak up all for a very longtime, Yea that Chavez vs Whitaker fight I lived up in Lake Tahoe and watched on a huge screen at Caesar’s casino outside and a huge Mexican crowd there were silent , Robbery again, Ring size should be the same everywhere in a perfect world but …… I am about your age and we had a lot of great fights through that time and without HBO or Tuesday Night fights on USA network and Your I assume buddy Al Bernstein and Albert on ESPN fights it’s not quite the same and the internet non boxing types covering it too, Miss Bert Sugar or Bernie and Bobby and Steve Albert on Showtime sports , Did you enjoy working on that network ? All good there ? Oh and Emanuel Stewart I enjoyed commentating too, Love your new show and keep ‘em coming and take care of yourself and a comeback ? Never say never , Kevin

( 27:20 ) I disagree with your opinions here regarding Max Kellerman.
In my opinion, Max kellerman is probably the most accurate sports commentator in the game today when it comes to sticking to the facts & giving his genuine opinions. As of so far,
Max hasn't allowed main$tream to corrupt him.
    &
That has got to be acknowledged when attempting to give an accurate discription of his impact on sports today.
& when analyzing his character as a person in the sports world today for all of us spectators to see who are watching from home.
