One of the best jabs in the game over the last 30 years
Watch out for video on Sunday! You're comment on our poll is featured!
I said this before on FB like 8 years ago. Paulie has and had the best Jab and move in Boxing.
Yeah man, it was like an up jab with a faint usually throwing right before! Not enough fighters use this punch! I see Kambosos use Paulie’s technique! It’s brilliant on so many levels, it sets up and disrupts all at the same time!
Good shit Paulie
@@deereal3173 after the up jab followed by the faint...then 2 quick jabs to the head and 1 hard to the body. I used that in sparring and had em confused for 4 rounds.
@@mateenfoster4595 ima try this out
From 2007-2010 was the most loaded 140 and 147 division since the 80's. Paul Williams, Cotto, Margarito, Hatton, Judah, Tszu, De La Hoya, Mayweather, Gatti, Pacquiao. That's hell to go through.
Marquez mosley
THAT WAS MY ERA !!!! A GOLDEN ERA NOW LOOKING AT WHAT WE GOT GOING ON!!!!
100%!!! 🥊
Martinez
This is the documentary that made me fall in love with boxing, all those years ago. My grandfather boxed in the army and I was surrounded by fighters as a kid, and I did martial arts too (karate, kick boxing, etc). But seeing this is what really spawned my interest in the sport in my teens. Paulie became my favourite fighter and had been ever since.
Paulie never got the credit he deserves , the way I look at Paulie is like this ,
(1) he was in a generation of killers and fought them all
(2) the man was handicapped since day one with his hands meaning he is going in there armed with a pistol against everyone else who is armed with shotguns and rifles. What I mean by this is the man had to rely on boxing iq combined with footwork and angles and a great jab, knowing how bad his hands were he knew he had to be fitter than the the opponent. Hence going in armed with a 38 v a AR 15 (cotto for example) . If anyone has ever boxed they will know what I am trying to day here. Sorry for my bad articulation
Naw perfect example. Clearly understood what you saying. Your right. Mad skills and and a dope fighter. Malignaggi always a legend in my book. Fought the best that was out there at that time in those divisions
Nothing but respect for your career and accomplishments in and out of the ring, Paulie. Never knew you had a documentary until today, rest assured that it was entertaining and insightful. I enjoyed every minute of it. Loving the content on your channel as well. Keep up the great work champ!
Couldn't have said it any better myself ✊🏽🙂
Who takes Cotto into the championship rounds during cottos youth and early prime like that? The magic man was too skilled and tough to be put out like that. Dangerous fighter from a intelligence and tactical point of view. Love from Puerto Rico.
More like he knew how to run...
@@lennybogartcould you have less of a clue ? He literally stood in the pocket with him the whole fight he didn’t wanna be on the outside because he didn’t have enough room to step back far enough to not be on the end of cotto’s punches so he stood in the pocket and tried smothering him so cotto couldn’t get all the leverage he wanted when he’s letting his hands go . Could you be more of a dork ?
Great documentary. He had a lot of heart and was nicely skilled. He showed he had balls taking on Cotto 🥊
Funny when people try to diss Paulies career. Man survived a tough era and was a 2 time champ. Shits not easy
One of the best skilled boxers I wonder how much bigger his career would of been without those hand injuries. Thanks for everything champ
Thank you so much Paulie to share this documentary !!! I saw it many years ago but then it disappeared from RUclips
Paulie is by far my favorite. He has personality but he knows boxing very well. Best boxing analyst to do it period
I saw this on youtube years ago, loved every bit of it, classic!👌
Thanks for the upload, Paulie! I've been looking for this, they took the last one down.
Awesome been looking for this!
Best commentator in the game today
Good on you for releasing this Paulie you’ve always been one of my fav boxers and been tryna find this for a while so exited to finally see it also great fight champ classic Paulie in the cotto fight a gutsy tactician
You must be Italian pauly sucks I like him too but he always lose he never beat anyone that matters
absolute ledge we need you back on commentary in UK bro
Thats why I have always liked this man. Heart Heart Heart. And yes imagine if he never had any problems with his right hand. I’m so glad you got your own channel too. I’ve always been a fan of your boxing commentary.
awesome! thanks a lot for this one
I remember seeing this back in 06’.
Paulie truly one the most entertaining Boxers of all time! Much Respect Magic Man!
People don't know Paulie fought his whole career with a right hand than never healed...so his jab was crazy. I still study the baby bull Diaz fights...Paulie used so many jab variations it took me hours to watch the fight because I kept pausing it. Def a fighter I studied to improve my jab variations.
Absolutely loved every second of this documentary! Paulie is an absolute living legend! Hope to meet you someday champ! You da man! Let’s go champ!!! 🔥🔥🔥
Bellissimo documentario paulie love it!
Damn audio is a bit delayed, paulie can you reupload with the right audio?
This documentary is fire 🗣️💯bk you gotta do a part 2
Love this Magic Man. I remember sitting on my sofa watching this on Sky Sports yeeears ago. From then you became one of my favourite fighters in and out of the ring.
This was so cool to see Paulie, what a pleasure to watch !!
Wow Amazing you had all that footage from so long ago.
living just a few houses away from him on 80th st in Bensonhurst, I watched him grow as a great fighter he became. Always training, jogging & shadow boxing through the neighborhood. I knew he would be a great fighter. Way to go Paulie, God bless
-Mondi
I remember watching this in 2006 shortly after the Cotto fight. Ive always been a fan . Ive always respected and loved the skills, and especially respected the bravery getting in there with such damaged hands, and compromised "power" and usually against a larger man. I ALWAYS rooted for Paulie. I cant think of once when I was rooting for the other guy.
From the beginning as an Italian fight fan who grew up knowing of Marciano and Graziano and Willie Pep IT took me a while to follow his career. Mancini was easy to root for along with Paz and Gatti.I now have a ton of respect for Malignaggi and he's been a champion let's not forget that!
How in the Heck I never heard of this man before?! This is great thanks
I remember watching this like 10-11 years ago. Loved it! Hey Paulie, you mention him in the doc: what are your thoughts on Joshua Clottey? I thought he beat Cotto! Top 10 of his generation?
Paulie my man I watched you since Cotto salute to you and glad to see a podcast!!!
Great Job Paulie
I had an issue with the video, there is a delay in voice.
Thanks for making this 10/10
We support you paulie
Love this
Loved watching you fight, most underrated jab theres been as it was truly remarkable! Best I’ve seen in 20 years but also some of the worst haircuts I’ve seen in 20 years 🤣🤣
My favourite fighter, Paulie the magic man Malignaggi
Most of paulies fights coming thru he had a screw protruding thru a bone in his knuckle in his right hand from a botched operation which must of been absolute agony at the time he had multiple operations on his hand its remarkable that he had any kind of boxing career let alone become a two time world champion.
I remember when this originally dropped... classic
The audio out of sync for anyone else ??? I’ve seen this doc before but wanted to see it again to support this channel but the audio is a touch off
The more I watch and listen to You Paulie the more and more I totally Respect you. You are an inspiration Man, No Dout. Thanks Bro.
paulie he is teh best smart speaks 4 languages great outstanding guy!
Can we interview Paulie? Big fan of yours
i cant watch this!.........till i get a couple bottles of wine and the tv to myself. yee yah
Great show saw the fight live went for Coto but was always a Paulie fan. Brooklyn always in the house
I have been looking for this for years I remember it but forgot where I saw it maybe it was showtime after a show box or something. But I loved it I’m so glad I was able to find this crazy.
Paulie your the MAN!!!! My hat off to you! Great documentary!
I'm glad l watched this video. I have new respect for Paulie
Nothing but love and respect for your career champ! And unlike Conor McGregor you always brought your balls to the ring.
Great part 1 🇮🇹🥊
Amazing
Paulie is awesome
Thanks for all the rounds you gave us champ
Go Paulie!!!
Is it possible to fix the sound as its out of tune when people talk that their talking is a few seconds behind
This is my fav documentary of all time
If only those hand injuries never came, extremely underrated jab and boxing IQ... i would say it's disrespectful that people dont talk about both more. If paulie had a little power, would have been a monster.
This fight a superstar Paulie got heart
i remember watching this years ago
Paulie Malinaggi A Future Legend And My All Time Favourite Boxer And The Best Commentator And Analyst The Game Has Ever Seen. Respect Champ
Lou DiBella said for a “White kid”; it must be ethnic White because if you didn’t know any better, you might think he was Latin(even though Italians are Latin, too).
I still love this documentary ❤
Respect thank you! Be proud of yourself Champ
I Remeber seeing this on showtime once and asked Pauli on twitter how to get it on dvd
What fight did Paulie broke his hands... He was a legend still fighting with a broken right hand.
That shit was cool Paulie.Respect
Respect ✊
I Alllllways dug Paulie. Got the New York toughness and slickness
just finished it and i cant lol
Magic time and Camacho used to say macho time I wonder if that's where Paulie got it from both new York boxing legends
He showed promise early on, but by his late 20's he was maxed out in the boxing game. Don't know if it was because he'd reached the limit of his skills or if poor training consistency and effort were at fault.
I remember the cotto fight...pauli pulling some real old school slick skills on cotto...but the bull prevailed that night
Much luv mago Familia
Dude ur just a badass fighter
Im puerto rican an i always liked Paulie for his swag game.
The intro song is still 🔥 till this day (deontae voice) till this day!😂
Gotta love it.
49:31 HIS PALMS ARE SWEATY, KNEES WEAK, ARMS ARE HEAVY 😂😂😂
Paulie, I'm surprised you never fought Vinny Paz. How do you think that fight plays out? Two Italian guys going at it. That definitely would have sold.
Paulie was a Beast baby....... 😎
The first thing I think of, when I see Paulie is toughness underrated, the second thing I think of......is my side piece. 😃
Paulie I got love and respect for you but goodness I hope that intro is different now
2 sides to each story.....
These kids were outta control
Paulie should have never taken that cotto fight so early
Love it Paulie. You're a smart kid maybe thats how you beat Kevin watts back in the day. Keep it up
It's not the loss, but how you lose..Paulie will get the nod @HF
Paulie your a beast I hope I get to meet you one day and maybe you can show me some slick moves 🤙🏽🤙🏽
Paulin was a true champ, fought every one
Who knows? Maybe having bad hands helped his career. His whole style might have changed with healthy hands. He had no choice but to use his skills and IQ.
👍😊
The hands have always been an issue for Paulir definitly would have had more kos
What a legend.
Love Paulie and I like Tarver but man there’s only one Magic Man and it’s (Marlon The Magic man Starling) 🥊
38:38 40:47
I like the magic man he’s a ok guy you no
Respect brother!!
At 1:48 Did u really just hock a lugie all over that white wall?! That's foul 😧
I was there. Ringside. Pauli was overmatch.
Paulie-bag-o-donuts !
I had a gun on me...I can't believe I got kicked out school I'm only getting 10.00 a day......their poor stepdad
Pauli so jersey shore...even the way his side piece follows him around
