The weather is warming up, and we are planting more greenhouses! After a quick vacation to Crazy Creek Hot Pools, we are back to the work of getting all of our cold weather loving seedlings planted into the greenhouses. And we have a lot of lisianthus to plant - and not very much space. You will never believe how many I cram into 2 greenhouse beds. And the extras don't go to waste - we are potting them up to sell to local gardeners.

Serena, please get yourself a wooden dibber to poke the holes into the ground. You will have serious arthritis in your fingers if you continue like this. Cheers and all the best for all your beautiful flowers!!! I would buy a Lisianthus tray in a heartbeat. Can't find them anywhere here in Germany. 😞

Ian needs to make you a dibble board so you can make your hole 60 or so holes at one time. Doing it all by yourself that could give you more time to plant other things or rest. A board with wine corks or wooden stobs screwed to it.

You have great kids, and love the fact that they can be your hired help. Paid off with candy and a hug! Doesn't get any better. They will know what to do to help in the future. Although....I don't know how long the candy will work! Ha! I put 100 out in my small market field last week. Ranuncs- not kids......and hoping to get some flowers this time.around. You could save so much time on poking holes if you made something. My thought was a piece of ply wood (manageable size but width of your beds) with rods of some sort screwed to one side in the length (for depth) you need and use that. You can make multiple ones for your spacing needs.

I tried growing these flower. The seedlings were micrscopic for about 2 months. There is no way they're ever going to be big enough to plant in the ground and the yellow ball flower I seed germinated well but once I tried putting them outside they seem to have fried in the sun....I'm confused because they're a full sun plant. I'm sticking with zinnias and vegetables for this season.

Hot springs ♨️♨️♨️ wonderful things when the cold seeps into the bones.
Tulips here are just about to bloom here, totally different spring here from last year.
